  1. Stocked up on MF towels plus some Graphene products on today's April Fools Day sale. Looked everywhere but couldn’t find any soap soap. 😁😉
  2. We’ve had a reprieve from winter with back to back 50* F sunny days. Yesterday my wife’s Beast got cleaned, today my SS got its turn to be bathed. I did both the same way: 4 gallons piping hot water in a five gallon bucket with Adam’s Car shampoo adding water from the hose for cooling so I could put my hands in the bucket. I started with a rinse to get the loose crud and salt off followed by Adam’s Strip Wash in the foam gun x2 with rinses in between foaming and after foaming. I then refoamed with Adam’s Car Shampoo and used multiple MF wash mitts to clean the vehicles. After the final rinse I doused both vehicles with Ceramic Boost while drying. I have a bottle of a competitors tire stuff to use up so that’s what the tires they got. I pulled both of our drivers side Weather Tech mats and cleaned them with Adam’s Rubber Mat & Liner Cleaner then treated them with Adam’s Graphene Spray coating. I also wiped down both interiors with a damp MF towel. Of course rain and snow is in the forecast for Tuesday through Friday.
  3. Walked out of the office today and took a long hard look at my filthy SS. It hasn’t been washed in a long time, November 23, 2021 to be exact. We’ve been busy with our puppy Loki and life in general. Sunday is supposed to be mid 40’s and sunny. If that materializes my SS, the wife’s Beast and mom’s Corolla will all get a mid winter wash.
  4. Mustang or Trojan??? Same question for you.
  5. Sorry to see a fellow unicorn driver in your straits. I feel your pain.
  6. ^ Mmmmmmmmm, there’s that beautiful blue Malibu again. 😁
  7. Well it ended up raining Thursday, Friday and part of today…oh well it did look great before the rain though.
  8. I have mom's 2017 Corolla for the week while the SS is being made whole, don’t ask. Despite winds gusting to near 50 mph yesterday I started with a foam bath with Strip Wash followed by a rinse then another Strip Wash foam bath. After the second rinse I foamed it with Wash n Wax (grabbed wrong bottle) then got to cleaning the finish. I rinsed the car and refoamed using the foam as a clay lubricant. Mom parks outside 24/7 and it shows. That paint, to quote Adam, “was rougher than a night in jail.” The glass was just as bad. Dried the Corolla then pulled it in the garage. My garage has about a zillion lumens of LED goodness. This made all the swirls, scratches and bird dookie etchings quite visible. My PC with 3” inch orange and white pads plus the jumbo SK with 6” MF pads paired with the orange and white Adam’s chemicals made quick work of the undesirables. I used a competitor’s panel wipe then commenced to coating it with Graphene Spray Coating. That stuff went on headlights, paint, wheels and all glass except the windshield. That got a competitor’s glass coating that I’ve nearly finished off. After a dinner of chicken street tacos I headed back out to the garage to cover the vehicle with Ceramic Boost. I also wiped the interior down with Adam’s Interior Detailer with MicroBan, sweet almond scent. I took the pic below then had Tiramisu with my lovely wife. Tomorrow I’ll coat the tires with Graphene Tire Dressing before I go to the office. Tomorrow night I’ll pull the mats and give them a good scrubbing plus vacuum the floors. I’ll finish with Leather Conditioner on the seats. Hopefully Mother Nature will leave it alone so when I return it to mom on Friday it’ll still look great.
  9. I have had poor sprayers on a handful of Adam’s products BEFORE the Vid showed up. Fortunately I’ve rarely tossed an older bottle when I finished the product inside. I moved Tire Armor and Surface Prep into old Detail Spray bottles and both have performed flawlessly since I made the swap. The Tire Armor clogged the first time I used it. I made it to the fourth tire when it failed. Neither hot water nor APC soak fixed it. Reported it to Adam’s on a subsequent order and received a replacement. That one failed on the first tire. The surface prep sprayer popped out of the part that screws onto the bottle as I was finishing wiping down the SS prior to Ceramic Coating. This is the sprayer type I’m referring to:
  10. After two plus weeks the SS was in need of a bath. Filthy wheels were cleaned with Adam’s Wheel and Tire cleaner, Adam’s wheel and tire brushes and my favorite Adam’s Turbo Stick. They were then rinsed and treated to a shpritz of Rinse & Coat. The vehicle got foamed with Strip Wash, allowed to dwell, then rinsed and refoamed. Second rinse left the SS near perfectly clean. I washed using Graphene Shampoo and numerous MF wash mitts in a bucket. Sheeting rinse left the SS with hardly a drop on it but the plush drying towel made quick work of the remaining water. VRT on the cowling, Ceramic Boost on the glass and a coating of Tire Armor on the Michelins finished her off nicely. Interior wiped down with Sweet Pea Interior Detailer. Then it was off to the showers. P U was I ripe! After a shower and pics I went to look at it’s possible replacement and was ignored by the sales staff inside the showroom and out in the parking lot. I’ll visit a different dealership on Monday since they seemed to not want to take my money and shiny ride. Left there and went fishing but should have just gone home as fishing stunk (as did the pond.) Took a pic as I was walking back to my clean ride. ♥️ Tomorrow, bright and early before church, I’ll wash the wife’s Beast then possibly mom’s Corolla after services.
  11. I was on staycation last week, so Monday the SS got an Adam’s Rinseless Wash with Ceramic Boost as a drying aid. Wheels and tires cleaned with Adam’s Wheel & Tire Cleaner then gently rinsed. Wheels got Ceramic Boost and tires another coat of Tire Armor. She sat in the garage until Sunday when she took the family to church. Pic is from Monday at the office. Yes, I have a reserved parking spot. It only took me 36 years to get one! 😁
  12. Friday I two bucket washed the SS using Adam’s Graphene Shampoo. The SS is parked until I go back to the office. Yesterday I went to Menard’s and bought more LED lights for the garage, nearly 35,000 lumens total if the manufacturers claims can be believed. My far better half said “wow, it’s too bright in here!”
  13. I’ve had the same issue. Only way I could get rid of the dots was to go over it with a plush MF towel that was damp with Graphene Detail Spray. I no longer use GDS as a drying aid.
  14. Rinseless washed the SS in preparation for several days of rain. Ceramic Boost on paint, wheels and windows. Pulled the drivers WeatherTech mat, rinsed the salt off then cleaned with their stuff. I’ll be ordering the Adam’s version soon.
  15. ^ Looking at the first pic I thought “why would you power wash an old cracked sidewalk.” 🤷🏻‍♂️ Doh! Good job on the power wash Ray. 👍🏼
  16. Went to Discount Tire to switch winter wheels out for regular A/S set.
