Yeah, not sweating it. Only did this because I already planned doing the paint correction in the near future so the paint is going to be absolutely bare the next go around. Just gotta wait to get this GTR out of my garage so I have more room to polish my evo.

On this go around i felt like bg before ps would be my best bet on making it look as great as it can be until i do the paint correction and I'm completely satisfied with the results.

Don't sweat it. There are no set in stone rules. Find what works best for your results, and your budget, and time constraints.  You don't HAVE to do it the way everyone else does .  We offer suggestions and recommendations for getting the BEST results, but even I don't follow every step.

Many other people have done it, and I wanted to try it as well. It's only paint sealant and not ceramic coating. Adam's video also says it's ok to do. I know it wont last as long but I'm supplementing it with the h20 guatd and gloss. I also plan to do paint correction next month and if I have enough money ill get the ceramic coating kit to protect it. If not I'll do paint sealant on bare paint at that time.

Reason why I did BG before PS is I have some minor swirling I was trying to fill in. This isnt a long term solution and people have already chimed in that it will last long enough until I do the paint correction.

Cars look great! Maybe I am misinterpreting but PS needs to go down first to bare paint then glaze. I hope that is what you did? PS won't last near as long if not.

    What GT-R ???
    Lol, just kidding.
It's in the process of being turbo swapped, electronics updated, upgrade fuel system and ecu upgrade.
Really wish it was mine but unfortunately not.
It's my buddy and I'm lending him a garage spot while he gets it done.

I really love how it looks right now. Dont think I'll need to add BG unless I go to a show or something. And thanks for advising me to get this H20 guard and gloss. I love it

It's been around 2 weeks since I applied brilliant glaze and paint sealant on top of it. First wash since then, I've driven it through rain and 2 dirt roads. It's been raining every other day, so no chance to wash it. It cleared up today enough to wash it, and dry it. I was pretty impressed with the shine from BG and PS.l and didnt expect it could get much better than that.

Well, long story short I pulled it in to the garage after the wash and dry and applied h20 guard and gloss and I'm blown away once again.
It made the paint glossier than I could imagine and made the black trim darker. The car looks better than brand new.

What can I or should I put on top of the h20 guard and gloss?

Told ya! ? Nothing else needed on top, really. It should last you a good month or so. If you really wanted, BG would add even more pop, but I love just the HGG on white. Yours looks great!!

    Yea your picture look great.

But CC needs to be applied directly to clean paint for it to bond properly. Free of waxes, sealants, oils, etc.

Maybe one of the Adams boys will chime in.

Next time you are at Adam's pick up the 32 oz dilution bottle, and put the sprayer on your H2O G&G bottle (or pick up a Tolco sprayer).  This sprayer atomizes the G&G much better than the regular spray head, and allows for more even coverage.

Generally HGG should be used about every 3-4 washes or so. And yes, a little goes a long way. I tend to start on the hood with about several sprays, then as I move around the car, it only needs a couple sprays per panel. You'll likely need to ring the towel out a couple times, too.

So now that I actually took it out I am even more impressed, .....i'm on the way to pick up my wife at the airport  Theres an added depth in the paint that I never knew existed and a gloss I never had.  The paint was shiny before but not like this. And the headlights and tails ate popping now.  The car just looks more high end to me now.  .....i'm hooked

This is probably my favorite combo for a metallic car Brilliant Glaze with Paint Sealant.  On non-metallic car, just regular Paint Sealant.

Ok guys, so just finished dropping my wife off at DIA and dropped by Adam's Polishes showroom. I am super impressed by their enthusiasm, helpfullness and customer support. I walked in and the guy behind the glass office walked out and greeted me, not sure who he was but I'm guessing someone higher up, then he he went out of his way and went to the back to make sure someone was there to help me. He greeted me, asked what I needed help with and i just told him I was looking to get some BG and some PS, he said no problem and even threw in a free red hex applicator, and then I noticed that they had some USA Limited edition spray on the shelf and asked him how much it was, he told me he could sell it to me for 10 bucks.
So he totaled it to 50 bucks, not sure if that's just from the top of his head or just a round number to help me out but seemed like a great deal already as it was saving me money and shipping. So I tell him I'm going to pay 37 in cash and the rest on the card, and when I hand him the 37 he told me I was good to go and not to worry about the rest. I am absolutely floored and blown away. I'm I'm going to be an Adam's customer for life on the service alone. So friendly, and the store front guy seemed like he wanted to be there and was happy. It's something I've never experienced.

Too cool, Elias. Bet you're wishing you only had $7 cash ?. I know Emery works behind the glass, and he's known to be super helpful, so maybe it was him. But either way, Adam has an awesome staff all around... Happy to hear they took good care of you!

Oldie but goodie video from Adam on layering with PS, BG, BW and Americana. Note neither HGG nor Ceramic Boost had been released yet, and Patriot, I think, was a limited release at the time (someone that's been around Adam's longer feel free to chime in...video is from September 2014).

He even gives a shout-out to the forums on here...pretty cool. And the forums have exploded in membership since. 10K members then to nearly 17K today. But who's doing "wild and cray" stuff on here?!

Highly recommend PS, especially for a daily. Protection lasts ateast 6 months. Yes, you should still strip and clay a new vehicle. Also strongly consider Iron Remover to further remove any residual rail dust. Then polish, seal, and HGG (or wax) and watch it shine like a new penny! Post some pics when you're all done.

Adam's PS is advertised to last at least 6 months. Maintaining with HGG, which is an acrylic product like the sealant, or the Ceramic Boost, which is a silica-based product bht still higly effective, will ensure continued protection and shine.

If I remember, your car is white, right? Assuming so, here's an example of the results I got this spring with strip wash, clay mitt, CP, and just PS. 3+ months and counting and my PS is holding up just fine. Adding HGG only adds more protection and makes it shine that much more.

Yep, you'd be fine. But I really recommend HGG.

Strip wash it first to remove any residual wax, etc. Then yes, clay will be recommended. Before clay, you could do the baggie test, as well, if only for grins to see (feel) the difference after clay. Another tip: Don't dry the car after rinsing the strip wash...it'll help add more lubricity in addition to the DS. Also, each time you clay, just be aware it may cause some marring of the paint so a polish may be in order. Swirls obviously aren't as noticeable on white, but you may need to polish no less. When you do reapply the PS, be sure to strip wash it again, clay, etc. Another product to recommend but I haven't used but have seen in action is the Iron Remover, especially on white. If not available, WC is another option; just don't let either dry on the paint.
