  1. Thanks Dan, Eric will be there with product, but most likely won't be part of the 15% discount: that's only for forum members, so the majority of attendees won't be aware of the Labor Day Sale. He usually gives discounts and deals, but hard to say on what and how deep. I figured I'd stock up on the heavier items (like gallons) to save the shipping costs. We'll have PA sales tax to deal with though, tough call.
  2. Brake Fluid = Paint Stripper Nice job Justin!
  3. How many coats of Brilliant Glaze is going to be too many? What a silly question You can never have too many coats of Brilliant Glaze. Ready for Sunday!
  4. The weather forcast has been up and down, back and forth all week. I now believe it's finally settled. It's going to be an awesome day!
  5. /\ NOT! First thing Bob and I said to Dr. Lahar and Jason when we met with them several months ago was, "we're not going to be cooking again!" We're having a catered food wagon coming in this time! Kenny from Enck's Catering, is supposed to have some really good eats for some really good prices. And as for the adverse weather conditions? Weather Channel.com says they'll be none.
  6. Agree with you Rich, the stuff really makes the paint pop! Nice visiting with you briefly on Friday afternoon too.
  7. I've found the Green pad with SSR is pretty good at quickly getting out 2000 grit wet sanding marks. A wool pad on a high speed rotary will do it quicker but there's a much better chance of burning paint and you still need to follow up with a DA to remove holograms. Nice job Chewy!
  8. Nice analogy Rich, well put. Good seeing you Friday too.
  9. Bob (krewsman) and I are planning on stopping in on Friday afternoon. Perhaps Charlie (Reichler) will be along too.
  10. Good job Dan. Now keep it that way!
  11. I agree, don't bleach the towel, just use it as it is. It's only color transfer and shouldn't be such a big deal. The towel's going to work just the same no matter the color.
  12. /\ My question too. And I thought I neglect my wifes Volvo from time to time. Nice difference for sure.
  13. The clinic and show are to start at 10:00am, but I'm guessing we'll be ready for folks to start showing up by 9:00. Of the 120 minute? No wonder I couldn't find any, you bought it all up!
  14. I still wipe down after the Master Blaster. It adds that "extra" gloss from the Detail Spray and removes any water spots left behind. I use this cord and have my garage on a dedicated 20 amp breaker with no troubles at all.
  15. Never dawned on me to use the Wheel Woolies to clean inner fender/wheel wells on lowered cars or those with little room between the tire and inner fender/wheel well. Brillant!
  16. Merino Wool Mitt in dryer? I think not! It's a natural product, not synthetic. It's basically leather on the inside with the animals hair on the outside. Would you put a leather coat in the dryer, or a fur coat? No Hang it up with the hand hole open is what I do after I wring it out well.
  17. Cleaned it with IPA and it worked for a while, cleaned it with APC and it worked for a while. I'm now keeping the nozzels off spent In & Out cans as they're the same and are interchangable between the two products. I'm also a bit more careful now when I release the nozzle and keep my finger on it as I release it so it doesn't roll somewhere I can't find it.
  18. 420 mile 7+ hour drive to the show from home Friday. 2012 Ames Performance All Pontiac Tri-Power Nationals. There was a car wash right next to the Motel. Friday evening after the sun started to go down as well as the temperatures I sprayed the car down with the high pressure wand from the car wash and proceeded to dry it with a Great White Drying Towel and one bottle of Waterless Wash. Placed a cover on the car overnight. Up Saturday morning and there was no humidity, one thin coat of Brilliant Glaze on top of the coat of Americana I'd layed down before the trip and BAM! First Place in Class. The Brilliant Glaze on top of everything else really made the paint and color stand out.
  19. Glad to hear it Rich. I've been unable to track down the Dog Fish Head 120. If they did a release in June it never came near me. Bring your camera!
