    that sucks! even driving a good distance behind the car in front of you doesn't avoid these things! knock on wood i don't know how i haven't got one on any of my vehicle living out here in BFE with tons of 18-wheeler traffic on caliche roads! the worst that's happened is a few small rock chips on the hood and a chunk of my chevy emblem was taken out somehow!

    thanks everyone! we're pretty stoked. i've already painted the nursery and assembled all the furniture. the wife is having a blast shopping for girl stuff now. she was convinced it was a boy and bought quite a few boy things she now has to return.

    man, if its still available this time next month, let me know. i ordered a new Sierra Denali in Sonoma Red metallic, so i'll need something with more grunt than my PC!

    i found out over the weekend my wife and I are expecting our first baby girl!

    well skipping the tires and fender wells every few washes helps. that adds about 10 minutes to the whole wash for me

    try scrubbing it with Adam's Leather and Interior cleaner and boar's hair brush, and finish it off with the conditioner. start with a diluted down portion of the cleaner w/ distilled water. i use a 50/50 mixture on my katskin leather in my truck.

    Nice job! Although it takes me about the same amount of time to use rinse less wash as it does a 2 bucket wash. Why? I don't know! But we have water restrictions and my water bill gets high owning a pool. I can do our escalade in 50 minutes and my truck in 45 minutes. Interior takes about 20 minutes on the SUV and 10-15 on the truck.

    i've been saving my pennies for this since the 2014 stingray reveal last year! i'll probably be ordering mine this time next year. i just hope the Z07 package isn't more than a brand new C6 ZR1 3ZR was @ $125k

    i somehow lost my old reliable Gerber knife a month ago, and just replaced it with a Kershaw Blur.... wow! this is a great American made knife and doesn't put a dent in your wallet! the MSRP for their knives are $75-$150 for most, but they normally retail for 40% off. the Desert Tan Blur i got was $52 on amazon with tax and free shipping.

    i did the exact same thing yesterday to my truck. last wash was 4 weeks ago, and since then we've had 2 winter storms. my method with rinseless wash was very similar to yours laid out above. only difference, i started on the roof and worked my way down to the wheels, switching the water before going below the side molding. took me about an hour start to finish.

    thats some pretty interesting stuff. i've never seen it before, or seen a vehicle with it. i don't see where it says you can peel it off though?

    a power programmer or custom dyno tune will fix the responsiveness. every drive-by-wire GM vehicle i've driven without a tune is like that.

    good luck... body shops have a tendency of never being wrong, and the customer never being right. best thing to do is be civil, show the invoices for work overcharged and request more communication from them.

    I was just at Sears. Those are the craftsman cabinets and craftsman is on sale right now for 15% off. I also really like the Gladiator brand they have also. Gladiator has a 20% off sale right now online. I'm epoxy coating my floor this weekend so something like this should come in handy very soon.

    i use mine as a pad, the inside doesn't dry as fast as the mitts. i'll pick one of these up in my next order!
