    My 2 cents,

The company still has great products but its definitely a different company / brand than it was when i started using their products 8-9 years ago.

IMO the second the outside investors came in, it was all going to change.  Any time you take outside money from investors/private equity or the like, you have a new set of bosses running the company that care about one thing only - growth and return their investment.  They are in it to hit a certain return target and then get out 99.9999% of the time.  Given that a lot of people were buying all the limited stuff/mystery items, lets be honest it sold out really fast very often, its no surprise that a lot more of it got offered - remember growth and revenue.

If I had to guess, the company will be sold soon as the revenues have clearly grown and are likely getting near the return the investors had targeted.   Hopefully whoever buys the company maintains the quality.  But realize, given the price they will pay, they will likely continue the current path, they will have to in order to maintain profitability.  I'd find it highly unlikely that a buyer comes in and slashes a lot of the non chemical items unless they no longer make $$$$.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but its a business.  Yes it has had a community around it, more so in the early days IMO, but in the end the dollar rules.  A business Made in America, the exact thing that attracted so many in the beginning - a bit ironic.

OK, so I'm a pretty OCD detailer.  I have tons of Adam's products and for me its like therapy keeping my cars perfect.  But did I go too far today?

I like all the stuff related to my detailing regimen clean and today I put Gloss and Guard on my buckets  my bucket dollies.  I have the red, blue and black combo for dollies and they always look spotty, NOT anymore.  GG made them look awesome!

Have I gone to far?   And, Apologies in advance to anyone that now feels compelled to do this to their buckets / dollies.

Chemicals are not going to affect the Ceramic Coating on the paint. Go ahead and spray the Tire & Rubber Cleaner and Coating Prep without worry, because it won't be touching the paint or messing with the Coating.

On the last several vehicles I've Coated I followed up the Trim right after the paint, so all prep work was completed at the same time. I've been using the Tire & Rubber Cleaner on the Trim when I wash the vehicle, not wiping it on/off with a Utility Towel as Adam shows in his video.

On the first car I Trim Coated, I wiped the TRC with a Utility Towel onto the mirrors while taking care of all the other Trim when washing. The only areas that look like they need coated again are the mirrors. Coincidence?

looks good.  be careful with your foam applicators on the bottom, yellow one could easily get some grit on it from rolling around and that would be bad if it was on there when you went to apply wax or sealant.

Using all Adams products and the customer was smiling ear to ear. I figured hell since I spend so much time on my own Camaro SS getting it ready for the next show, I should start doing it for others and maybe make a little extra money to buy more Adams products.

Took about seven hours to complete and looks amazing This truck has 88,000 miles on her

    Sealant
    Brilliant Glaze
    Americana

He only paid me to do the exterior but I still vacuumed the interior and cleaned the inside windows.  Over all I am very please with the performance of all the products I used and he definetly was just in awe over how good his truck looked

Both of my cars are coated. IMO you don't need a drying aid with the coating. Water barely stays on the car, I dry the car with one towel in 2 minutes now that it's coated

coating should last about a year.  then you may need to polish and reapply.  other than that no wax, negates hydrophobic as you stated.  wash, occasional clay and boost.  i boost about every other wash, in the winter i did it every wash just because of my OCD.

everything is much simpler in my opinion now that my cars are coated, and they look better all the time.
