Found this website in a Gizmodo article today, you can use it to view old webpages. Kind of cool.

    Here is AdamsPolishes.com from 2003!

Great job Matt. I still have some of the old Severe Swirl Remover and some green 4" pads that I use on headlights. The difference is amazing.

Getting back to the question, I keep my products at room temperature. You have a lot of money invested in these products. No need to take any chances of them getting ruined because of storage reasons.

My first responses never posted. I don't know if this will help your situation, but I used the automotive formula of Goo Gone to help when i debadged my Jeep. Worked very well and caused no damage at all to the paint. Touched it up with a little Americana and looked better than new.

CMDChase reacted to Dan@Adams in In & Out spray/Quick Detailer in a sprayer?
Yeah, I'm fairly sure he meant Quick Sealant in the first sentence. To clarify, Detail Spray is not being discontinued any time in the forseeable future

I will ask about making them into a liquid spray rather than aerosol, but for the short term future, here are a few alternatives:

As you mentioned, HGG is a new option to replace Quick Sealant and protect your wheels by spraying it into a damp microfiber towel and then spreading it onto the wheels, but I've actually been using Liquid Paint Sealant on wheels of several cars for the past year or so, since it is the most durable product offered by Adam's.

To make a product similar to a non-aerosol version of In & Out, take an extra 16oz spray bottle and sprayer, fill half of it with Super VRT and half with water, and then mix it up. This will give you a spray version of Super VRT that is good for things like engine bay plastics, tires if you don't want too much shine, wiper cowls, and exterior plastics like bumper inserts.

Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any questions.

I just want to remind you guys and gals who live in the areas where it will soon be getting very cold, that now's the time to bring your chemicals indoors and out of the cold. The cold's not good for these products so try and get them inside to an area where it's at least 45* or higher.  A closet, a heated cellar, a cabinet.  But out of the cold.
    Let's face it......................winter sucks.

Except for the hardtop, looks just like mine down to the debadging. A couple of points I'd like to add. Although the glass sealant still provides protection, the rain won't blow off the Jeep windshield like it does most other vehicles because it's almost vertical. You can see towards the end of the video that some of the UC spray still dripped on the cement. I use a dish cleaning brush and sort of paint the UC spray on that way. Eliminates all drips. Lastly, I use total interior detailed on my running boards. It looks great and isn't slippery. I don't know how much protection, if any, if provides. Great video and very well explained. Thanks, Adam.

Take it slow and learn your trade very well. See if someone on the forum lives near you. They can critique your work and offer constructive criticism that is immensely helpful. Once your ready to go, get a website and business cards. Hand out business cards like they're candy on Halloween.

On thing I learned about detailing for money. Your customers will never know everything you do but you can bet they will see everything you miss.

Good luck. It's a great way to make some extra cash.

I'm currently working on a new and updated Detailing Flow Chart, but it's not yet ready for prime-time yet.

Kyle's post above mine gives a nice order of operations for detailing, and our video series provides great information on cleaning and maintaining nearly every aspect of your vehicle:
