I hope you guys are possibly considering other methods of bottling a quick sealant. Clearly its great for wheels like everyone has already mentioned. But what I loved about it was that on my work van with vinyl logos all over it and my jeep I could just spray it over everything without worrying that it would leave a white residue behind around the vinyl or the black rubber or plastic trim. Now I do enjoy the G & G, don't get me wrong, I guess I liked having both. I'll try and stretch out my can and a half! Thanks boys and keep up the great work!

you could probably just pick up some new take offs pretty inexpensively. Just too much work to make those look new again

I have always used quick sealant on my rims for a while now. But this last wash I used GandG on them and it was crazy easy since I didn't have to make sure they were all dry. My rims are satin black 22's and it really brought a nice deep black sheen to them!

Ditto on the leather conditioner scent! I also think the the spray bottle shape would be tight.

Hello, not sure if this is the best spot for this comment but here it is. I thoroughly enjoyed the DD instructional video that Adam did. I Have been washing DD's for a long time, a lot more often than the Garage queens. I also have three kids and a black Denali Xl with weathertechs, about an hours time, and to see you do the exact same things while cleaning it up that I thought the Adams forum may hang me for was great. The only thing that could have made it more real is if you had your kids riding by on their bikes splattering water runoff everywhere! I especially loved seeing you take the towel and wipe off the interior door armrest from the kids nasty hands. Sometimes you just gotta get the crud off without breaking out the interior detailer all the time. I definitely will use the quick claybar idea, already enjoying the Guard and Gloss! Its amazing how a car can go from trashed to beautiful in roughly an hour, just don't come inspecting for swirls . Anyways thanks for keeping it real in this video, loved it!

Sorry for your loss. On to your question, my Classic car is obviously not as valuable as a GT350, but no matter the value we are facing the same issues as anyone else with a classic car. Trying to keep them clean and to prevent rust at all costs. I typically let my firebird see water a couple times a year. All the other times I keep her waterless washed up. But its a nice day driver that sits in the garage 5-6 days a week and never in the rain. Good luck!

I generally use total interior detailer on my 69 Firebird. I like the satin like finish it leaves behind, seems more natural on the older cars. But I'm sure there is very little protection getting applied, just a nice routine cleaning product.

Sometimes I notice that on mine when I hit them with detail spray after a wash and the DS sits there a touch too long. I can usually spray more on to help even it out. But yours may not be as simple as that. But it looks like product left a sheen on your wheels, before it got spread out.

I have felt that way the last year or so. But its not really losing interest its just time. I do good to keep the DD's washed every week or so. Which is why I love the new H2Ogg! Atleast its easy to get some protection on. But once things calm down I plan to hopefully get back into some more polishing and what not. The swirls on our black DD's are like rabbits multiplying!

I used it on all three of my cars recently. I can't explain how nice it is to get some shine and protection down so quickly while drying! I don't think the wife even realized I was putting a sealant on. I did the three vehicles and it looks like theres probably enough to do atleast another vehicle yet. So for me 4 good sized vehicles, thats not bad at all. I wouldn't normally put it on my Firebird but I had a coolant hose blow off on it while I was driving down the highway the other day. Made a huge mess! So I gave it a rare water bath, and decided to put the H2OGG on it and it was super fast! Which was good because I was short on time but wanted to get something on it after all that happened.

I noticed the X5 has a 3rd row option now. I like it in that category, but I have no experience with one. Also the Audi A7 is nice.

Some of my thoughts may have been mentioned but here they are. I recently used it on both our family DD's. It was super fast for the Wash and seal. I would say make sure to be in the shade, or on a day with overcast, the sun may cause quick drying of product and some streaking. I tried once to do two panels before I buffed off and it seemed more difficult to level out. So stick to one panel. I also really didn't wet my towel first, just let the water from the first panel or two dampen my towel and that worked really well. Most spots buffed off pretty easy. Side note, I also did my satin black wheels with it while they were still a little wet. They came out basically like quick sealant looks wise, added a nice sheen to them. But very easy to apply since I didn't have to dry them.

you know, you confirmed that I will love the guard and gloss and the new wash wedge! Thanks, but what I took away from the post was that I need those connected rolling bucket caddies! I am so tired of lugging those things around my vehicles. I am gonna have to get that.

I use it on my road bike, quite a few pieces on there. Lastly I spin the tire and spray it down. Then wipe it off where the brakes rub. Sometimes I'll spray knobbier tire areas.

So yeah, I got tired of the chrome 22's and needed a change. Opted for these 22 GM Reps satin black with some terra grapplers on them. I'm digging them, although it took some adjusting not seeing the bling anymore. I am still deciding how to address the other chrome on truck. I don't want to lose all of it, but thinking most likely lose the nerf bars and go retractable or just black bars. Also the mirrors for sure black. But I think I will leave the rest for now. It is a denali and I hate to take all of that away from it. Also the close up pics are the after and before with just quick sealant. It really made them pop! I can't wait to try some brilliant glaze on them. Its snowy and nasty right now so these are the only pics I have till it gets nicer out. Keep in mind this was an overcast, hard to really catch the beauty of satin black in pictures on a vehicle

Very nice! Looks good as is, but if we are brainstorming here.... Gloss or stain black lips with a brushed metal center possibly, or color match the centers to the cars paint

Matte to me generally is a chalkier dry black, while Satin looks a little darker and has a little more sheen to it.

Good to here, I was searching this topic the other day. I ordered up some 22 gm reps in satin black for my black sierra denali. Decided it was time to lose the chrome 22's and go a different route. They should be here this week. I'll try to post some pics once I get it all done.
