I know right, those things are Bad A$$! I drove one on a small test track GM setup at Barrett Jackson a couple years ago and fell in love with it!
-
ah, get a black one, drop it an inch or two, throw on some new rims, exhaust and tint, and it'd look pretty damn nice! But it'll depreciate like a mutha.

Sweet ride, and some great shots of it! A guy that lives across the street from me has a gtr, he swung by one day and took me for a spin. Thats an insanely fast car, but I'm sure you know that already. 98% of the population think they have been in a fast car before like I had thought, but I now realize they have not! The way that thing connects and just propels is just amazing.

I just started polishing my white Firebird last night and quickly found out its pretty tough to get a good look at everything. I only got the hood done so it'll be a drug out process. But I kept getting low and moving around a lot trying to catch the light in spots to see how I was doing. Even looking into the bulbs reflection I found it hard to get my eyes to focus on the paint surface and not the light bulb. But hey, I'm use to black, can't miss anything on those! haha, good luck!

I was glad to see that the outside still looks similar to the old model, since I won't be getting rid of mine anytime soon. But I'm a little jealous of the interior! Looks like a sharp truck but It doesn't make me wanna run and trade mine in on an $800-$1000 payment. But I saw the concept for the next F150 and it looked pretty bad ***. Im sure they will numb it up before they release it though.

Spray-In Truck Bed Liner
bjoeaull replied to McMo's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I'm lazy, I go to car wash and spray out every month or so with pressure soap. Still looks shiny and new so havent put any product on it yet. I did scrub it out once with apc and a broom. -
Thanks, I'm pretty stoked, its gonna be hard not ordering wheels right away, but with the suspension, and hopefully selling our house and building a new one, I could be pushing my luck, so that'll have to wait. But currently I'm kinda thinking satin black rims, probably all black, but not sure on that or the style. Here's how she sits now, can't wait to get that front lower. Kit says 2" drop is the norm from stock. '

Wow, I felt sick to my stomach just reading this, so I can't even imagine how you felt on that drive home! I probably would've wrecked just trying to get home. I'm glad it had a happy ending, and great job training her. My girls are only 5 and 6 so you taught me a great lesson for down the road!

Wheels won't come clean

gotta repeat the clay comment, some good stuff -
So I've sayed before I believe that I live in the same town as Ride Tech. Well I know quite a few people that work there, they come in to eat at my restaurant quite often. So they have been telling me how they could make my 69 Firebird ride really well. So we worked out a sweet deal (rather not go into details for their sake on this) and should get a full coil over kit installed this summer soon I hope. I'll try to update as it starts to happen! Heres the kit I believe we are going with http://www.ridetech.com/store/1967-1969-chevy-camaro-complete-coil-over-system.html

I have the same boards on my sierra denali, and yeah, everyone steps on the plastic so my guess is you'd be alright. But I have no experience. I tossed around the idea of dipping all my chrome strips and rims to black out the whole truck. But not sure I have the time, but I think it would look sweet!

so does the daily special today mean that they are trying to clear out inventory of old polishes to make room for these two? I like the idea of two steps instead of 3 IF thats what'll end up happeing.

Thanks for the opportunity to test the product! Sorry this is late, my first post I made for some reason I'll never know didn't post a few weeks ago so I'll try again. Also mine is not as detailed as some I've seen, lack of free time. First things first, I had to smell it. It smelled different from the other products, a fresher cleaner kinda smell, but it didn't hang around and get overwhelming. The product was easy to apply, I sprayed on some larger areas, and other smaller spots I sprayed on a MF towel. It goes on smooth, and dries a streakless matte finish. Some will like it, others may want a shinier finish. Its about preference. I tried it out on my 69 Firebird so the matte look worked really well for it. So on to the pictures, sorry for the lack of before shots, but heres some afters.

I'm a touch late, but speaking of may, I saw this on FB and freaking died laughing. If you don't get it, nevermind! For everyone else, enjoy.

you really make me miss my 97 GTP red coupe! I bought that thing new and loved every minute of it. Wish I still had it.

Seems to me it would also remove any waxes or sealants on the paint as well. Maybe someone with more knowledge could confirm this.

Should I throw away the chamois?
bjoeaull replied to PHILLIE PHANATIC's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
I sometimes use my old absorbers for areas such as windows, wheels, or jams and what nots. Keeps my great white towel from getting so saturated too quickly. -

I was lucky enough to get to test a product from Adams, thanks again! Like most of us I couldn't wait to get the Total Interior Detailer once I found out I was chosen. I have been crazy busy and couldn't do a full blown interior cleaning, but that may be good. What I did was get the 69 Firebird out and just start wiping down with the TID. I see now some other testings went all out with before/after shots, and some half/half shots. Well I have 3 kids, a business, and times not on my side, lol! First thing I did was open it up and smell it, like I'm sure everyone did. Its different from many of the other products, but in a good way. It smells very Fresh and Clean. So like I said, I got my 69 Firebird out and thought it'd be great to test on since the TID is a "matte" type look. I sprayed down the seats, the console, door panels, and wiped the dash and whatnots. Took very little product and it wiped away very easily. As advertised, its a matte look, theres very little shine. It makes the interior look showroom new, you know, before they grease it up with some _____ shine wipes. The smell did not linger like some cheap cardboard air freshener. Just left behind a great looking interior. On to the pictures, I hope this gave a nice review on an older car! Enjoy!

The truck got a coat of Project Patriot today

Wow that silver is POPPIN! I may have to spring for that wax someday! I think it may set off the black Denalis and the white firebird nicely! Great job boys. -

Water Washing classic cars

That's the way I felt, get some residue build up off. Thinking 2-3 times a year would be good. Boy it feels weird to spray water on it when I try so hard yo dodge rain! -
I like it! Not sure I'd buy it though. I would however buy a 67 Z28!
