  1. yeah, sent them an email, but no response, I'll prob call monday. Problem is I really like the style, and it sounds like this may not be an isolated problem.
  2. So I ordered a set of Anzo UBar headlights for my 08 Sierra Denali. They look awesome in my opinion. But the one issue is I can't get the projector beam to a level high enough to be useable at night. I have tried halogen and hid bulbs no luck. I have read a review or two now that seems like others may have this issue as well. Since I like the lights so much, if anzo has no good ideas, was considering having new projectors installed in them that will allow better light, adjustability, and hid use. I guess my post is to ask if anyone knows a place that would do this for me thats not crazy expensive but does good work with quality parts. If I decide to go that route.
  3. I have gladiators and they are great, but a few years ago I bought two old high school lockers and painted them flat black and it holds most of my everyday adams products very well. Plus it looks awesome! Agree on plastic ones, they start to flex and loose shape after time, sagging.
  4. I have thought all along there was a void without dylan, I have never met him, but the forums haven't felt right since he left. He is a great asset and I'm happy for Adams that he is back. I did secretly hope he was the surprise but didn't want to say in case it wasn't, didn't want to hurt feelings, lol!

    Wagon Wednesday

My Dads wagon, he's nice enough to let me borrow it sometimes!
  6. Its pretty obvious your prices are cheap, by the amount of people contacting you. If your doing a wipedown and vacuum of inside plus exterior for $10, I really think your cheating yourself. If you want to keep volume up and prices reasonable, I'd say $20 for basic and maybe $30 for ultimate, maybe offer detail spray, tire shine, and something wiped on interior. Keep in mind theres other add ons you could do for xtra$ maybe engine bay $5, Quick sealant $15. Just snowballing here! Get them interested with the basic price then, sell them on the extras. I still think all these prices I listed are still a touch cheap, but I think thats what you going for Also these are just my opinions, take them for what you want, lol!
  7. If this is a nice neighborhood, with nice cars, I think you could charge more. Hell my local drive thru touch less washes are roughly $10. If your doing a good wash and dry I'd think you could easily get $15 for a basic wash and dry. Maybe up it to like $20 for detail spray and tire shine. Not sure if your touching interiors but could bump it to $30 for wipe down and vacuum. Just my thoughts, but anyways sounds like a great side gig!
  8. I use waterless wash, detail spray and quick sealant on mine. Sometimes I will spin the wheels and spray in and out on the tires and black rims. I try to wipe where the brake pad hits but I haven't noticed any problems.
  9. If you put your list in a blender I think a 2011 -12 Grand Cherokee SRT8 would pop out! haha, I haven't looked but think they are starting to get below $50k If not, a CTS V is a sweet ride. Bet you could find a very nice M3 also, in your price range, you could buy a lot of car! Have fun looking
  10. Thanks, for those that don't know thats how they came back then with the basket on the back. Generally less chrome though. It does have the original motor I'm told.
  11. So about a year ago I bought this 47 Servi car that was in pretty good condition but we wanted to switch up the paint and fix some lazy body work. Stripped it down, did metal work to fix what the bondo had been covering up. Polished all chrome, new seat, new front rim, and next is motor tuning and getting it to run at its peak. Heres a pic after paint and being put back together. I plan to sell this in the near future as I never really intended to keep it myself, just a project.
  12. I had a spray in bedliner put in at the gmc dealer here locally. I liked there product because it was guaranteed to last, plus it was a very shiny finish that matched my shiny black paint was why I chose theres over linex. Plus I like to do business with my local gmc dealer, they are small family owned and are great to work with. They also do business with me at my restaurant with catered meals and what not . I have never put anything on it to protect it or shine it up and it looks just as good as it did over two years ago, the last year sitting outside. Just pressure spray it out at the coin op randomly with soap, cause trash will leak sometimes on it. Think mine was like $450 ish with the rails done.
  13. I think they all look good depending on options. Take a Denali, a limited Ford, or a loaded Ram, in Black with nice wheels and you really can't go wrong.
  14. Welcome, I'm in Jasper IN, whereabout are you from?
  15. yeah, that setting makes those cars look like hot wheels. Just insane! I was there a year and a half ago. But although nice cars, they were just cars. Coulda been some visitors there looking at those cars.
  16. Ok, this may seem nosey, but I would love to know what Dylan is moving on to. Assuming its just a new job. If its a more sensitive issue and private I understand and respect that as well. But come on we have been patient, lol, inquiring minds want to know. Anyways either way, hope all is well and wish him the best of luck. I did not know Dylan personally but in a way you start to seem connected on these forums. This forum is one out of many that I feel most welcome and connected to, unlike some of the many others I belong to.
  17. Just like everyone else I'm stunned. Good luck to you in the future! Hope you hang around the forums some. You will be missed. Such a changing forum landscape as of late it feels like.
  18. You just can't beat the speed of applying quick sealant. Hell you barely have to wipe it off. Plus it lasts!
  19. how can you tell whats being used? Lately our town has been using a dark brown sticky liquid that smells funky on our roads.
  20. The wheels look phenomenal in person, once the weather gets better I'll get some nice pics. I didn't want them too shiny with chrome, Since its a white car I thought a more muted center. But still wanted some shine on the lips to tie in the chrome trim around the car.
  21. hmm. not sure why its upside down, I used my phone to post.
  22. Teaser pic of the new wheels I put on in December. It's all I have as car is in storage for now. 18x8 and 9.5. Custom finish 2 piece torq thrusts, brushed metal centers with polished lips. They turned out great, first set they had done in that finish combo on the thrusts.
  23. i don't have that exact experience but a few weeks ago we had a guy come to our house to patch a wear hole in our high quality leather couch. He patched the hole and color matched the area. It looked great. But he warned that it won't hold because its in a wear spot. He was right, its starting to slightly peel where the leather bondo type stuff meets the leather. He said we need to replace that piece on the cushion and then re stain the entire couch to match. Other cushions need the the stain too. But the area around it that the stain was blended to looks very nice, so you may be able to stain that spot on your wheel. I be you'd need to sand it lightly so it can soak in the color better but I'm no expert. Disclaimer, I did not stay in a holiday inn express last night. Maybe this is some help to you, probably not, but I already typed it out so I'm posting it! Good luck
  24. Its very nice looking! I'd be interested in seeing how the fit and finish is. If it drives like a modern car, seems odd because it looks old. But would be nice. I don't know, seems you could design and build 2 or 3 pro touring type cars for that kind of cash.
