  1. I use total interior detailed somewhat frequently, but when I need a good deep cleaning, I go with leather and interior cleaner. I always use leather conditioner after leather and interior cleaner, the high SPF makes me feel better.

    Happy Birthday

    Happy Birthday Adam.
  3. Glass sealant is worthy of its own order! But beware with glass sealant - you will likely out it on cars for family and it becomes something you ALWAYS need to do for them. Sure it starts off with a subtle hint here and there "boy, I really miss that sealant on my windshield" and "I could use another application of that sealant" then it becomes "Timothy Robert! Get your ..." Oh wait, maybe that is just my dad....
  4. I haven't washed since last night. Now , my Vette and my new car haver been washed or driven in weeks.
  5. I'm with Rich, if my wife found out.......
  6. We should all spray detail spray at half-spray for Dylan. Best of everything for you Dylan!
  7. Warning: the following post could be seen as a downer, I don't mean it that way. I would put it toward the Alzheimers walk going on here next month. Hopefully that would help prevent others from seeing what it does to their mother.
  8. Jason, if you would like to try BG, I have WAY too much. I can send you a (new unopened) bottle - no charge. Just PM me with details if you would like a bottle, and give me a few days to hit the post office.
  9. Yep, that is how the Master Blaster pays for itself, no DS needed for drying.
  10. The top chart is right, the bottom is also, but more confusing.
  11. I changed the oil in my car once. Well, on my Volt which is mainly electric and only has about 3k gas miles on the engine in almost 3 Years. The only reason I changed is because the manual says to change after two years. I change the oil on my Vette once a year even though I only put about 2,000 a year on that, but it will burn oil. I add at least 1 qt, maybe 2 a season.
  12. Bobby, is that you? I didn't pick up on the flayed.
  13. You should apply it to dry glass. Just make sure to remove any dust, you don't want to seal that!
  14. I clean mine well and store them in the basement unsealed, on a raised, carpet covered platform (1/2 inch or so) without SVRT. When switching g them back, clean them up, quick sealant on wheels and SVRT on tires.
  15. I just got a gallon of the old stuff that I'm getting ready to crack open. Any suggestions on how to get my windows dirty faster so I can burn through it and try the new stuff?
  16. The first step is to bring your car to me and let me drive it with the red key. I like the way Patriot and Americana look more than the sealants. I will use a sealant for the winter because it was a pain waxing my car this winter when it was 4 degrees! I only use Patriot on my Vette, but that stays in the garage all winter.
  17. Glad it worked out in the end. Beautiful car
  18. Wow, I never saw this thread until now. My story is just like anyone else's, it started September 23, 2011. Like most people, i was getting ready to go out to meet some friends when I got a phone call telling me I had won the raffle that I bought a ticket for back in August. The grand prize: a 1984 Corvette. I finally got things taken care of the next week and picked up the car. It was rough, really rough. I started thinking "if I'm going to have a Corvette, I want it to look good" so I hit Google hard. I didn't have a clue about anything other than a basic (please forgive me) one bucket wash. With the videos and forum support, The one product line that stood out was Adam's. I made a huge mistake and started slow - it would have been much cheaper to go for a big kit. Well, the following spring I attended the Grabiak clinic, met Adam, Junkman and Lynn and others from the forum here. My Corvette looks great (and my other cars too) and I haven't looked back.
