  1. Mine should be delivered tomorrow, looking forward to it.
  2. The old TID is perfectly safe on plastics.
  3. If you used the leather cleaner, next use the leather conditioner. They should go hand in hand. TID is a standalone product that offers a lighter cleaning.
  4. It looks like you are "deleting your threads" like you posted about.
  5. Well, I don't know if it is a "don't do" yet.
  6. With it being cooler today, I set out to wash two of our cars tonight. I am just finishing rinsing mine when my wife gets home, so I dry it and we have dinner. After dinner, she pulls her car in the garage (yes, I prefer washing in the garage) and I wash hers. I dry hers and go back and do all of the glass and a detail spray wipe down on both cars. After cleaning the buckets and putting the hose away, I start to head inside when I remember I didn't dress the tires yet. I grab the tire shine and a foam block and head back out. A quick couple of shots on the tire and I notice the tire shine is running down the tires like I've never seen! I even had to grab a towel to wipe the wheel down. So, I'll let you guys know in a couple of weeks how ceramic boost holds up on tires. And I claim to be good about checking labels because I'm color blind, but I don't have trouble with yellow.
  7. Whew, I'm glad it is about forum threads. At first I thought you were moving to a nudist colony.
  8. Every coin op around me has signs like that (I used to use them every now and the during the winter)
  9. Sean! Where in Ohio? Lake County here.
  10. Draining and cleaning the hot tub, so while that was in process, gave the Vette a bath (washed the other three yesterday) while preparing to watch the Stanley Cup finals. Let's go Pens!
  11. You didn't mention it, so I'll ask, did you use the coating prep? I coated one vehicle not quite a month ago, so time wise, I'm behind you.
  12. I recently picked up an new Equinox that will live outside, so I decided to try the coating. I went through all the steps you did and then hit the coating. It is REALLY easy to work with. The trim coating is unbelievable! Today, my neighbor was out washing his truck as I was washing the Equinox, we finished at the same time and he came over to ask about the coating, he thought it looked that great. We talked for about the coating for about 10 minutes. I should mention that it was raining by this point, but neither of us cared, our cars needed washed! Try the coatings, you won't be disappointed.
  13. How do you guys use the sprayer? To me it is kind of like using scissors designed for little kids, very awkward.
  14. Don't polish your vehicle after minor surgery when you are on pain killers. Just don't.
  15. Go ahead and try the aerosol one and then make up your mind.
  16. Yes I seal the mirrors, The windshield need it more often, but I keep all my glass sealed.
  17. I seal all my glass, but feel free to only do the windshield. It isn't a big deal if you get any on the trim, it won't stain. Also, you will get dozens of applications from that bottle, even doing all the windows.
  18. That is normal. I make sure to shake my bottles every month or so. I also just used it on a couple of spots I saw a week after coating my car. I have way too much of the stuff, but it is a great tool.
  19. The product page says "easy to clean with a super slick formula". It says it won't add shine, but the super slick formula doesn't sound good for floor mats.
  20. Yes there are differences. You could use the paint coating on the wheels, but you don't want to use it on the trim.
  21. Their stuff is available on Amazon w/prime shipping.
  22. I can't disagree with anything above. If you can't paint the whole house before moving in, at least paint the closets. Does the house have carpeting? You want to clean that too. It can be a great time to buy something like the Bissell Lift-off. The machine works well and you can easily convert it for small areas like, oh, maybe a car interior. And don't forget the Adam's CUC!
  23. I didn't have a cell phone until I was 27! Well, that was a long time ago and my plan was $15 a month, zero included minutes, $0.50 a minute. Texting and internet hadn't been invented yet
  24. 3 of my 4 vehicles have removable inserts. I take that inside to the sink and have at it. Are you sure there aren't removable inserts?
