  1. The most appropriate sentiment in the least appropriate form: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1TSsS-mB6c
  2. Recently 2 step polished, sealed, glazed, and Patriot waxed my wife's Jeep Liberty. For a light color, I felt like I got pretty good reflections.
  3. I had a spot on an interior panel that TID on a utility towel with moderate to heavy pressure would not remove. I busted out the Leather/Interior Cleaner and it took the spot off with no problem at all. There is still definitely a place for the LIC. In regards to the TID, it does a great job keeping the interior looking fresh. As mentioned, the anti-static properties are no joke. After a couple weekly applications I noticed the dash staying basically dust free...and that has NEVER happened.
  4. Love those 300s. The last gens were stately and the new ones are straight up classy. Yours looks pretty damn sweet. Nice job!
  5. Looks good dude. SRT B5 Chally = Sweet!!!
  6. 'Merica! Patriot #27 is checking in. Inspired by the Charger in this post I decided to spend the day and give mine the treatment as well. Background: Car was polished Nov '12 using Flex and 3 step process. It was sealed with MSS and coated with Americana. I had just re-applied the Americana about a week before Patriot was released. That doesn't matter because I really wanted to use the GOOD good stuff. So this AM I woke up bright and early, stripped washed, and proceeded with the recipe for face melting. Gave it a layer of Quick Sealant followed by the Brilliant Glaze and then on to the Patriot! What they say is true! "It is a pleasant experience" certainly is a good way to describe it. The wax went on smooth and creamy and wiped right off without any difficulty. As somebody else mentioned, a little goes a long way. I reloaded the applicator only twice after the first time. And you can really smell it when you get down close to your paint when buffing it off...very nice indeed. The shine and reflection are incredible. Like a lot of people, I was skeptical of it being any superior to Americana, but it really is noticeably better. While the price was high, I feel it is a worthy investment. Even my wife, who normally doesn't care , noticed the difference. Anyway, here she is in the sun:
  7. I remember my first time... I was so innocent then.
  8. Wife sent me these shots of her Liberty this AM (she gets IT ). Recently quick sealed...
  9. My Charger took about 20 hrs over 3 days from Wash, clay, polish (Flex), seal and wax. It's really not something you can get done right in a day.
  10. I'd never machine polished a car before. I started out with the intention of getting a PC for the same reasons (safe, easy, etc)...but ultimately went with the Flex based on lurking around here. It's pretty safe and faster. I polished my car without any issues. Just watch the videos and read what people are saying around here. Ask questions... people are chomping at the bit to give some experienced advice. A little common sense goes a long ways too.
  11. Hmmm, I always thought there had to be single nerdy scientist somewhere with a really REALLY shiny car. It sure seems like a lot of boutique labels come out of there, but I understand what your saying loud and clear.
  12. The car care product world is an interesting one for sure. This seems like it may be another instance of 'All roads lead to Warner'... Like the rest of you, I choose Adams
  13. I'll save you some time...the 12th Step is Americana.
  14. Well, I ended up ordering 5 gallon Waterless. I use more of that then I expected. With the announcement of the new detail spray coming, it became a much clearer choice. APC may be next though. I also may be able to finally realize my dream of bathing in WW
  15. The details. I'll miss a piece of trim here and there, or only clean one side mirror and leave the other spotty...i've cleaned the interior only to find i didn't wipe down he turn signal knob. Yesterday, I did the interior windows, but neglected the passenger side portion of the windshield...because screw that guy. That kind of stuff. I've gotten much better hanging around here.
  16. Cool banner! I noticed the bottles were different as mentioned. As a noob around here, I wouldn't mind seeing some more pics of 'vintage' Adam's products if anybody has any. Tell us what it was like in the old days...
  17. LOL...yeah, me too... The wheels are Boss 338s. I think they're just supposed to emulate generic vintage muscle car wheels. I got these because they were similar to the Challenger 'classic' wheels and I liked the finish.
  18. Thanks! Also, cracks me up every time. My question is, is it a mantra thing you repeat to yourself in an effort to resist the urge to drink it...or is it more of a "Simpson's Chalkboard Gag" punishment thing where you're already in trouble for doing it?
