Last weekend, I took my first swing at doing a car I don't make the payments on . They only wanted a "wash & wax" and interior cleaning, so no paint correction this time around. Overall, the car was in pretty decent shape to start, but some Adam's love proved to take it to the next level.

    Products used:
Red CS (to get the crud off) HGG (to add a base sealant and shine) BW (to add another layer or protection and shine) BG (to show off! and for interior windshield) APC (for wheels, tail pipes, floormats and trunk liner) WC (for deep cleaning the wheels) TRC (for tires) TS (added two coats because the customer wanted them extra shiny!) UCS (make the front fender liners disappear; rears were carpeted so didn't use it there) VRT (for all trim) RW 16:1 to make WW-like solution (door jams) ID (over all interior surfaces to make the inside look great) LIC (extra cleaning power for some interior surfaces) GC (clean glass!) DS (nav screen and instrument cluster) LC (to treat the interior and add some nice fragrance) CUC (spot cleaning where necessary) ON (added fragrance) Wash Pad Fender Brush Tire Brush Wheel Woolie Cockpit Brush Interior Red Foam Applicator Foam Block Grey MF Pads DSTs GC Towels Sidekick Lots of elbow grease

    And now for the SHINE!

    Hero Shots!

The shiniest picture was also the largest file. Coincidence?! I think NOT!  (and yes, I later cleaned the small mud flap by the rear tire and applied TS to where the tires were missed )...

Here's a couple shots that I took in the early morning, before driving it to work a few days after finishing the detail, and then getting rained on.

Good grief, I have really been neglecting this thread.  I was really busy this summer and fall with projects around the house, but have gotten back to spending quality time in the garage this past week.
I'll start by posting a tip for cleaning tires.
If your tires are really dirty or have a lot of oxidation (look brown), then you may need to scrub with Tire & Rubber Cleaner more than once.  After scrubbing, and the lather turns brown, rinse the tire and then scrub with Tire & Rubber Cleaner again, until the lather stays mostly white.  This lets you know that all the dirt and oxidation has been removed.
Really bad tires may even need more than two scrubbings the first time they are deep cleaned.  Just scrub, rinse, repeat until the lather stays mostly white.

Second part of this tip:  If you don't already have some Tire & Rubber Cleaner, get the Tire & Rubber Cleaner Collection which also includes a gallon refill and the Tire Brush.  This is definitely a product where you want to take advantage of the discounted 'cost per ounce' in the gallon refill.

Hey guys, Kyle here. I'm in charge of product development at HQ and I can assure you that project is still in the premature stages. It was originally conceptualized to be a tablet style with "glass Boost" application but the alcohol content in the Boost has been pesky for perfect results. We have some goodies coming for ya!

We have much to be thankful for here at Adam's Polishes! For me personally, the past two years that I have worked here full-time have gone by like a breeze, and it truly is amazing to see how things are growing! We would not be here without each and every one of you, so we are extremely thankful for your support.
Enjoy the day with your family, friends, and loved ones. I'm very thankful that I will get to spend this afternoon and evening with some of my loved ones. And for all of the men and women in our military that are spending Thanksgiving away from home, know that we are thinking about you too!
From all of us at Adam's Polishes, Happy Thanksgiving!

Awesome Video, I liked the part where he hates peanuts, omg, I cant stand opening a package and the peanuts go everywhere.  I actually used to work in a warehouse and loved to ship with paper, I could form it to fit in the small places and with heavy items it held up great.
Very cool tour of warehouse, love Adam's products!

Other than stepping up to a ceramic coating it sounds like you're set for the paint protection.  I might add glass sealant and glass boost to that list. Easy to clean windows are very underrated in the winter in my opinion.

blcksilv08 got a reaction from TexWalker in Tough towel vs. good old green towel? When and where to use what
Generally I reach for the tough glass towel after a road trip or on a vehicle that hasn't had the glass cleaned and sealed for some time.  At Barrett Jackson Las Vegas a few weeks ago I used them a ton.  We cleaned several coaches and large tow vehicles that had traveled significant distance including the Adams Polishes Freightliner Sport chassis. Spray the windshield down with aerosol glass cleaner, walk away for 5 minutes, quick shot of cleaner again and wipe bug guts/crud right off with that towel.
I've used it at home on the inside of several windshields that have a film on them before wiping with Brilliant Glaze.  So how that fits in to your regimen is up to you, if you find yourself working to clean glass normally then step up to the tough glass towel. It finishes down fairly well, only a count times I've had to follow it with a standard glass towel. ?

My winter prep is a good solid wash, clay, paint sealant day.  I wouldn't really worry about polishing anything since the salt is gonna tear it up anyway.  Then every couple washes or so, throw a coat of H2OGG on.  Also, don't forget the glass sealant and hit it with the glass boost when you do the H2OGG.  Then when spring rolls around, clay all the crap off from winter and go ahead with the waxes and all that.
P.S. If I know its gonna snow the next day, I usually spray the inner fenders and spots where I know snow will want to build up with the Undercarriage Spray.  It helps keep it from sticking.
