I have found that the Master Blaster will remove light dust.

I don't recommend the CD either, WW & WW MF towel is your best option here. And for light dust (say setting in the garage) DS is great to use.

Your car doesn’t always need a full bath with soap and water. Light surface dust, finger prints, or other minor surface contamination can be easily and safely removed using Adam's Waterless Car Wash.  It saves water and it's quicker than a traditional wash as well! It also prolongs your wax or sealant life by using a less invasive method to clean, it can also be used in direct sunlight.
Spray Adam's Waterless Car Wash on moderately dirty finish, wipe clean with Adam's Waterless Wash Waffle Towels. Special lubricants and wetting agents encapsulate dirt, making it easy to clean the paint without damage and without water.
How is it different than Detail Spray?
Adam's Waterless Car Wash is a more effective cleaner, and has more lubricant designed to remove larger dirt particles without causing swirls. It also has no gloss enhancers, so it leaves your paint clean but not glossy. Follow Adam's Waterless Car Wash with Adam's Detail Spray to enhance the gloss!

What new la...bel are you talk...ing...about...? I see no such thing!

I won't comment on the detailing too much, but it was mostly a misunderstanding and Adam and the president of the other company were totally cool - he thought we were going up and down and detailing every vehicle, but all we were doing was helping out the Quicksilver truck since he is a friend and customer. Sorry I didn't get to speak to you...my whole brain was just in sensory overload from the cars and "Hey look there's Burt Reynolds!" "Hey there's Chris Jacobs!" etc. I'm going to make a full thread later this evening after I get the ok from the Chief Detailer.

I think it was right before the "talking to". But yes, we were standing by Quicksilver. My assigned car was two aisles over.

I heard about that "talk". If a vehicle owner wants to use a completely different car care product than what is on premises, no one can stop that owner. And if that vehicle owner has the benefit of that company's owner making his detail products available to that vehicle owner and personally assisting with detailing, no one should question it. And should a large company hassle a small company? Barry Meguire isn't out there detailing cars.

I mean, what difference does it make whether I detail my car or if Adam and Dan detail my car with Adam's Products?

Wow, I must have missed you. Was this when we were wiping down Quicksilver and had a "talking to" from a certain other sponsor of the event?

69supersport396 got a reaction from Redbeard in 1966 Impala
During the week of August 2nd, my son and I flew to Maryland to pick up our newly acquired 1966 Impala.  Appears to be garage kept as the original interior is in excellent condition for being 49 years old.  The package shelf and the carpet are the week areas.  The 283 / Powerglide combo run like a top!

We took five days to drive it cross-country to Arizona.   It did well, averaging 17 - 19 MPG.  Except for a mechanical issue in OKC that was quickly repaired, it performed excellent.

It was repainted some years back.  It is a single stage repaint.  My guess it's a Centari Enamel repaint.   My preference is to leave the car as is and only repair some minor mechanical issues.

The Adam's air freshener took care of the "old car smell" in the interior.   But after the road trip, I had 2410 miles of bugs and road dirt to remove.

I started by jacking the car up and placing it on jack stands.  Made it easier to clean the undercarriage and engine compartment with APC and various brushes.  I will soon remove the wheels to adjust the drum brakes and will hit the fender wells and backsides of the wheels at that time.

Followed up with a three bucket strip car wash.  I think the previous owners used turtle was on it, as I has lots of it to remove from under moldings and emblems.  I also scrubbed the jambs.

After blow drying the car, I proceeded to clay the paint.  This was probably the worse I've ever seen as I needed two clay bars.  The biggest improvement I noticed was to the glass.

The old paint was too far gone for Adam's Paint Correcting Polish, so I broke out some more agressive stuff I still had along with my oldschool Snap On buffer.  This Centari is hard stuff!  However, it did help a bit, and I followed with Paint Correcting Polish.  Maybe when the weather cools off, I may color sand it.  I followed with Adam's Paint Finishing Polish, but only on the roof and hood as I really noticed no benefit.  Maybe if the paint was in better condition, I might have noticed a difference.

An IPA wipedown followed and then I applied some old Adam's Machine Super Sealant and allowed it to cure.  Time to hit the interior.

Copious amounts of Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner were used on the seats, door panels, and dash.  Adam's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner was used on the carpet.   I followed with Super VRT.  That stuff is awesome!  Adam's Window Cleaner cut through the "film" the previous owner could not remove with foamy stuff and paper towels.

I haven't figured out what to use on the 49 year old trunk mat, as I did not want to damage it.  For now, wiping it down with APC will do.  After removing all of the junk, I vacuumed the trunk and returned only items that belong in the trunk.  Another area requiring caution is the original trunk spatter paint, as liquids can damage it.

Spent about 23 hours on it.  I slapped some Chevy Mag Style Hub Caps on it, dropped it back on the ground and this is the finished product.

Later that day, I drove it to a local cruise and was pleasantly surprised with all of the attention it received.  Clearly the interior is the best area of the Impala.

The next day, I gave it a quick two bucket wash and followed with H2O G&G.   I think it turned out very nice considering what I had to work with.

I may try some Adam's Brilliant Glaze before taking it to the next cruise.

Now I have a reason to buy new Adam's Orange and White Foam Pads as I ruined my old ones.

Tree and ornament looks nice.  In regards to your sideways picture issue I have taken and rotated the picture in the edit picture settings in the phone.  I found it to be weird that a picture will be right side up on the phone.  I post it and it is sideways.  I rotate the picture completely around, back to where it was, straight up, and it posts right.  Don't ask me why.  I have an iPhone.

My first choice would be the pullover hoodie. I don't like to wear anything with zippers on the front when washing or detailing, since the zipper could scratch the paint when reaching to the back of the hood or the middle of the roof.

I would only wear a full-zip when I am out-and-about, like when I go mall-crawling in my truck.

On the back view, there was no graphic of the rectangular sticker on the website so I had to use a cell pic.

YES! Send that to me RIGHT NOW! I love that new logo!

One other option to consider for those of us with very nice hairstyles that get messed up with hoodies, is a front zip, with that round logo shown smaller on the chest, then the rectangular version of that same logo, shown large on the back.

I would buy a couple of each version.

I also think that logo would look great on a white, heavyweight cotton tee.
