  1. TTT. Please RSVP in this thread or via email. We look forward to seeing you there!
  2. I'm not Adam, but I did receive a Traxion ProGear Mobile Gear Seat for Christmas. (No Adam's embroidery, though.) I finally got a chance to use it a couple of weeks ago. I'm very happy with it. I assembled it with the shelf, which I find very useful for holding things like polish and DS. Rolling around the lower panels is SOOOO much easier and more comfortable than sitting, kneeling, squatting, etc!
  3. Having never heard from him, and in light of the fact that his account doesn't appear to have been accessed in nearly two years, I think it's safe to say Randy is MIA. Too bad - It looks like he had some great skills in the Forum Signature arena.
  4. +1, though I clean my engine bay several times a year (before every show). Since I don't own a Blaster, I blow-dry with the cheaper, multi-purpose leaf blower.
  5. Installed pics of the coil covers, even if somewhat obscured by other parts...
  6. Thanks for the kind words, guys! I'm happy with the way they turned out. I am definitely tired of pulling the cover up to look at my car now and then! I look forward to warmer weather, so I can start detailing again. In the meantime, she remains safely in storage...
  7. I never cared for the combination of leather and Alcantara suede on my original steering wheel, so I swapped to a leather one from a 2014 Mustang GT (virtually identical in overall configuration, but without the suede). I also added Shelby billet aluminum engine caps. I wanted my coil covers to stand out a little more, so I had them powder coated by The Powder House (Brian and Sara Pancoast).
  8. Interesting. I've only been there once before, and I didn't try to take photos. I was unaware of that restriction. I agree that it's disappointing, though.
  9. Start the 2015 car show season right! Please join the Colorado Shelby Breakfast Club and the Denver Mustang Club at an Adam's Premium Car Care Detail Clinic. The Clinic will start at 9AM on Saturday (18 Apr) at the Shelby American Collection (5020 Chaparral Ct, Boulder, CO 80301), and run for about 3hrs. Cost to attend is $5/person, which covers Museum admission. Adam's professional detailers will walk through the entire detailing process (e.g., washing, drying, treating vinyl/plastic, claying, paint correction, sealing/waxing, etc), demonstrating each step, and answering questions along the way. Depending on time, attendees will have the option of trying tools/products on their own cars, under the Adam's staff's expert tutelage. Adam's products will be available for purchase, with a portion of sales benefiting to the Shelby American Collection. Please RSVP in this thread or via email. We look forward to seeing you there!
  10. Congrats, Ray! I don't know much about convertibles, but Dylan's advice is always spot-on. In addition to the his stripe recommendations above, I suggest you watch his video on this topic and peruse the related discussion.
  11. +1. Turbo Stick is a great addition, but Wheel Woolies are indispensable.
  12. +1. He may not demonstrate it, but I don't think I've heard him recommend against it either. An alcohol wipe down is the quickest/easiest way I've found to strip polish residue, guaranteeing a clean surface to seal. As long as it's done only to painted surfaces (or glass) with properly diluted alcohol, there's certainly no harm in doing it.
  13. Your plan looks pretty good, with a few recommended tweaks... 1) STRIP Wash 1.3) DRY 1.6) DRESS plastic, rubber, trim 2) Clay + Detail Spray (Do I wash again after claying? Some do...) 2.5) You do NOT need to wash again 3) Paint Correct 3.5) ISOPROPYL WIPEDOWN 4) Seal 5) Glaze 6) Wax 7) Wheels/Windows/Trim 7.3) Doing Wheels/Windows now is fine 7.6) Trim should have been DRESSED at Step 1.6 8) Interior 8.5) Doing the Interior now is fine FWIW, I posted a summary of the steps/process I follow here.
