  1. Since my first Adam's order in early 2013, I've invested ~$2.5K via multiple orders that average ~$160/ea. As others have said, I consider it money well-spent caring for 2-3 daily drivers, in addition to my Shelby, that garners at least a couple Best in Class awards every year.
  2. I hadn't thought about BG, which is an interesting idea. I use RW, as suggested, but end up reaching for Tarminator when I encounter something that requires a "stronger" approach. This is great news. I'm eager to see what develops... FWIW, Adam, Tarminator works relatively well. I've just come to trust your brand more than any other when it comes to my detailing needs.
  3. Is there any plan for Adam's to develop/market a bug & tar remover? I currently rely on Stoner Bug and Tarminator, but would be happy to convert to an Adam's product if one existed...
  4. +1 to all of this. I've used both DS and WW, with no issue. (Both work well for me, but DS seems to provide a little more shine.) The keys with both products are not to overdue it (less is more) and to use clean & dry towels to wipe (frequent flipping/folding and, when necessary, another towel).
  5. +1. Blue and Orange hex applicators are designed for polishing, not sealing/waxing. RED and YELLOW hex applicators are the ones suited to sealant/wax application. Stick with Gray if using a machine.
  6. Welcome, Bob! Ricky Bobby's advice may be spot-on, depending on the condition of your car and your level of OCD. I offer the process I followed, if you tend toward the OCD...
  7. I use my PC7424XP with a Gray Pad to apply sealant.
  8. Indeed, though timing, as they say, is everything - I wish you'd brought them back before I spent time and money experimenting with Borderless Blues...
  9. +1. Use what you have ("a lot of machine super sealant") before spending more on LPS. It's a good upgrade, but there's nothing "wrong" with MSS. QS is great stuff. I use it for my rims and to augment MSS (Yes, I'm still using-up mine too!) when needed.

Thanks for all the kinds words, guys! (I agree with your assessment, toddimac, the Auto Shop is one of many benefits those of us in uniform enjoy and for which I'm very thankful.)

It's not Road & Track or Motor Trend, but I was honored to have my car featured on the cover of the September/October edition of Air Force Academy's "Blast" magazine... The associated article promotes the installation's Auto Shop, where I frequently perform minor maintenance/repairs on all my vehicles.
  12. +1. Would rather have the product show-up, with a notice that it's out of stock and perhaps an option to be notified when it's available again.
  13. This is my recipe... http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-54-adams-glass-cleaner.aspx. In addition to working well, it smells good too.
  14. I prefer the SIZE of Single Softs, and find them easier to manage when folding/flipping to ensure full use of the towels' surface while polishing.
  15. Thanks to Fphillips and 2Fords for responding to my request! I'm officially out of Borderless Blues, and have rounded-out my collection of Single Softs.
  16. This was my experience with MSS on my daily-driven truck last winter. I sealed in October, drove it all winter (garaged at night), and it still beaded water nicely in the spring. I'm getting ready to open my first bottle of LPS, so I'm happy to hear I can expect similar/better performance from it.
  17. I've got 4 NEW (unpackaged and cleaned with Microfiber Revitalizer) Adam's BORDERLESS BLUE towels that I'd like to trade for similar condition Adam's SINGLE SOFT towels. Please PM if interested.
  18. - Made in the USA - Product QUALITY (everything works exactly as designed) - Customer SERVICE (unbeatable) - Knowledgeable STAFF (answers to questions are a simple email/phone call away) - Informative and Easy to Understand VIDEOS (even a caveman can do it, or something like that) - Detail CLINICS (What could be better than interactive product demos with Adam, himself?) - Frequent Specials/DISCOUNTS/Promotions (enhance value even further) - COLORADO-based (I can visit HQ just about any time) - Corporate PHILOSOPHY (customers come first and the company frequently "gives back" to worthy causes) - 110% Satisfaction GUARANTEE (I've never used it, but it's nice knowing it's there) I'll probably think of more, but that's a good start.
  19. It doesn't appear so, at this time. The "ProGear Racing GearSeat" is made/marketed by ProGear, the "Professional Tools Division" of Traxion, Inc. According to their web site, "TraXion is committed to Assembled and Made in the USA. We regularly review products to determine if USA production is viable. Here is our starting point. These products listed here are either made in the USA or assembled in the USA using foreign and domestic components. We look forward to this page growing!" Unfortunately, their site currently lists only one "Made in the USA" product ("The BodyForm Creeper USA"). A second, "The ProForm Creeper USA", is listed as "USA Production Coming Soon". A third, "ProGear Wide-Body Creeper", is advertised as being "Assembled in the USA from import and domestic components". I infer, from the the lack of "Made in the USA" marketing regarding the GearSeat, that it's not currently produced domestically.
