Good idea on the Sidekick Blaster. Drying the car isn't hard bc of the size of it and nice layer of protection but getting all the hidden spots would be nice. I also agree on a huge stock of microfibers. I need to research the main differences between the single and double soft versions.

I've never been much of a fan of any waterless wash system. Prob just poor prior experiences but I'll pass.

Thanks for the advice! Keep it coming!!

This is my first real forray into highline detailing products and I must say I'm loving it! Here are the Adams (and couple non-Adams) products I've amassed:
    *Adams car shampoo
*Adams all purpose cleaner (with 1 gal refill)
    *Adams glass cleaner
*Adams detail spray (with 1 gal refills)
    *Adams VRT with applicator
*Adams total interior detailer (with 1 gal refill)
*Poor Boys bug and tar remover
*Adams wash mitts (1 large and 2 reg size)
    *Adams green glass microfibers (2)
    *Adams great white drying towel
*off brand microfibers for interior cleaning
*Adams wash buckets with grit guards (2)
*Mothers wheel brush and tire brush

A forum member with his own detailing business got my car perfect a few weeks ago with a total Adams wash/clay/polish/glaze/sealant/patriot wax so, for now, I'm looking to just keep it in top notch shape with a weekly detail and have him do what he already did ever 3-4 months until I get comfortable with a machine polisher.

I'm thinking I have most of the upkeep bases covered but am trying to decide if I need anything else. I'd love to have the Master Blaster dryer but I'm still experiencing a little bit of sticker shock with it still. ????

If you're just gonna do maintenance on the car and have it corrected by someone else then you seem to be good.  Maybe pick up a sidekick blaster for some drying.  Some DWC and wheel woolies maybe.  Undercarriage Spray possibly.  And quite a few more MF towels.

Thats a prety advanced technique, make sure you are extremely comfortable wet sanding before ever thinking about attempting it.

This week we released for presale our new Paint Correcting Polish, Paint Finishing Polish, and Microfiber pad system. The videos below are part of a larger series that will be released later this month with even more new products and tools.

Some basic FAQ questions that have come up so far:

Does this replace the old SSR, SHR, and FMP system?
Yes. The new 2 step system is more effective and faster.

    Are you discontinuing foam pads?
No. Adam's foam pads will still be sold. The only pad being discontinued is the green pad since Severe Swirl Remover is no longer needed/offered.

Will the new polishes work with my current foam pads?
Yes. The foam pads are not changing. The same orange and white foam pads you currently use can be used with the new system.

Which is better, microfiber or foam?
There is no one size fits all answer. Different conditions call for different pads, we suggest watching the videos below and perhaps trying both systems to see what works better for you. Each system has pros and cons.

Can you use the old polish system with the new microfiber pads?
Yes. While the results may not be consistent or as effective as the new polishes, the current polishes can be used with the new system.

Will there be a 4" version of the microfiber pads?
Yes. Look for the 4" microfiber system to be released near the end of June - beginning of July.

How do I clean my Microfiber pads?
Adam's Microfiber Cutting and Microfiber Finishing pads are machine washable! Start by using the pad brush to break up any caked on polish from the fibers. If very dense polish contamination is on the pads surface spray a few squirts of Adam's Microfiber Revitalizer & Brightener into the face of the pad and agitate lightly. Wash on a warm (not hot) setting separate from all other materials (including your microfiber towels).

Air dry the pads somewhere clean and with plenty of airflow. If faster drying is needed the pads can be machine dried, be sure to use no fabric softener and the lowest heat setting possible.

EDIT 7/1 - Replaced the individual videos with a single playlist link below.

Don't see why you couldn't. Only reason they changed the pads was to make them universal to the PC and Flex.

I'm going to issue this as a general "heads up" type warning... keep it in line and lets keep the topic on track. People are coming here to learn about the new products, theres a lot of unnecessary BS and half baked suggestions in here that serve as nothing more than a distraction for those who want to learn about the product.

    Thanks!

Having invested about $2k in the last 60 days with Adam's products, it was a swift kick in the nuts to hear about this new 2-step product that has been in the works for over a year.

    Thanks guys.

I have to agree with everyone else. 60-90 days seems to be the norm. Again talk to your painter he will be able to give you the correct info. Normal Adams Shampoo and water, Waterless Wash and Detail Spray would be your safest way to go.

You should not seal or wax fresh paint until it has fully cured. Normally it takes about 60 days, 90 seems a bit much, but the paint shop knows more about their specific paint/method than anyone, so I would trust them on the time. Just maintain the car with WW or DS until it is safe to seal and wax.

Hmmm, I haven't used Adams pads on my rotary yet...let me measure for you though. I have 4 backing plates for mine...

Use the 5 5/8's, like the Adams....I just tried them on a 4 3/4, and there's too much slop on the edges. Unless you like that for body lines, but it will diminish you correcting ability.

You can treat the entire car before wiping off to save yourself time. BG wipes off just as easy as BW IMO, no harm in letting it sit for a few extra minutes.

That is the technique, one of the tips I saw in a video was to wipe the inside and outside opposite. Your choice just do one side vertically and the other side horizontally that way you know where there is a streak if you have one.
