Question

So I just placed an order for the Porter Cable basic kit as well as some other items today. :pc:

It made me wonder how much I've spent on Adam's stuff so I searched my email and added it all up....$706.95. Now granted a lot of stuff is going to last me a while but it was kinda crazy when I added it all up. Curious how many others have gone crazy.

A good investment is never worth just a dollar amount. How many times have you had a grin ear to ear when you are finished shinin up your ride? Can you put a price on the feeling you get when your friends say, "your car looks new- what did you do to it? Did you get it repainted?"

Or just to watch and adore junkman and try to do what he does?

I dunno.....happiness is priceless.

Theres a rule I learned a looooong time ago... never look at the receipts on things like this. I added up all the money I sank into my Silverado SS back in the day and it was painful.

Car modification/care and hobbies of that sort are the kinds of things that are best unknown.

....that's why I said "don't tell my wife." :lolsmack:

I looked at my order history a little while back and was like WOW. I'm over 1K now and my friends think I'm nuts. I'm planning on driving to Atlanta for the detail clinic and that will cost me an arm and a leg cause I average 12 mpg but I'm going anyway. People call it correctly when they say this stuff is addictive.

If people in my family knew how much I spent on this stuff, my dad would probably kick me out or start charging me rent.

I love this new hobby. The only thing I dont love is I can't do it in the winter. I really really really hope to be able to afford a house in the country some time soon so I can have a nice heated garage/barn to wash my stuff in.
