1. Garden State

3. Band of Brothers

4. The Sandlot

5. Forrest Gump

I have more but if I had that annoying Jack White bumpin his gums would've listed them!

The Blues Brothers

Dazed and Confused

Almost Famous

The Dukes of Hazzard (the movie, not the TV series)

And as far as instrumental scores, again not in any order:

Raiders of the Lost Ark

I have to agree with "The Big Chill", and you cannot go wrong with music from a John Hughes film. And for a more current film I like " Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist".

BUT my all time favorite soundtrack is from the move "FM" - Steely Dan, Linda Ronstadt, Boston, Boz Scaggs, Foreigner, Eagles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and many more! FM (soundtrack) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia,

I gotta add 'The Color of Money' after watching it again recently - Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Robbie Robertson, Robert Palmer, Warren Zevon, B.B. King, and Don Henley.

I would have to think about it a bit more, but off the top of the melon I have to say The Crow is one for sure. Forrest Gump was another great one. Any Quentin Tarantino film is going to have a great soundtrack as well.

Requiem for a Dream

That has got to be one of the most haunting, disturbing, brutally depressing movies of all time.

That's movie literally made me feel nauseous afterwards.

American Graffiti hands down for me. I absolutely love this movie and soundtrack. I wish I grew up in that era so bad. Although I wouldn't of had any Adam's Polishes in my life. :D

Forest Gump

Band of Brothers

Empire Records

Children of Dune (Scifi mini series)

Clerks.

Pulp Fiction

Rich would be on notice for "Love Actually" if I didn't like that movie so much.

#1) The Crow

#2) Breakfast Club

#3) Wedding Singer

#4) High Fidelity

#5) have to think about #5.......

KICKAZZ thread Mook. :)

This is a good list. The Crow is definitely the best sound track of all time. I'd swap out John Hughes movies though for Pretty in Pink's soundtrack.

Others I'd add to the list:

Singles

Reality Bites

South Park the movie. (Mr. Hanky's Christmas Classics is great too from the TV series).
