2 More uses for Adam's All Purpose Cleaner

I've recently found 2 more uses for the APC.

The first is it works great as a pre-wash stain remover for blood on clothes...( cut my hand and my shirt was the first thing to use). I've only tried it diluted 3:1 and it takes a couple times of pre-soaking the stain, but it does work.

The second thing I found it works great on is cleaning the residue left by using Pine-sol on my vinyl floors for years. I tried Goo Gone and it didn't work. APC took it right off. There is a reason they recommend using Armstrong Floor Cleaner....it doesn't leave behind a film or residue like other floor cleaners will.

It also cleans blood out of garbage cans from spoiled meat that has defrosted and set for a few days.

You're welcome Paul. I also used it on the vinyl at my front door....it had black marks on it where it meets the carpet and it took them off too. I had never used the Armstrong cleaner in the past because it cost more than other cleans, but I found a $2 off coupon and decided to try it....glad I did. I'll never use anything else on my floors again. The APC helped to get the vinyl back to like new again.

I found APC to work extremely well for cleaning grout. Looks like it did the day we moved in.

I changed the oil in the mustang and had it all over my hands. Sprayed All Purpose Cleaner on them and wiped it off with a shop rag and my hands were good as new. No oily residue either. Worked like a charm.

I used it to clean a stubborn part of my apartment floor, that for the entire 6 years I've lived here, always looked dirty.

 

Sprayed APC on the floor, let it sit for 5 minutes and using the tire brush it came out looking clean and brand new.

Best thing for blood is hydrogen peroxide. Works great and it's cheap.

Cold water works well on wet blood on cloth.

Darn, after hearing those suggestions for washing the Mustang off one's hands I'll have to stop using APC on my hands. I love the feeling of Boss 302 on mine.

also - any tennis shoes/sneakers with white bottoms/soles where the white rubber wraps up the sides of the shoe - nikes, converse (chuck taylors) - apc does an awesome job of getting all the crud off the white and making them bright again.

I just wanna bump this thread with a few suggestions of my own. APC works awesome for cleaning the kitchen stove and oven. My wife also uses it to clean the bathroom. She said it gets the soap scum off the sinks and shower walls. I use it full strength as an engine degreaser. It actually cuts oil and grease better than carb/choke cleaner.
