Innovative Detailing
Here is a fine example of an original owner (still owned) 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible that was given to my customer on her 15th birthday back in 1967. Of course the paint has been resprayed many years ago, but the rest of the vehicle is original and intact. I had the opportunity to detail this gorgeous muscle car back in Jan 2010 and recently the owner was approached by a studio who wanted to shoot it in a commercial. So last week I set out with my son and my Adams arsenal to give this GTO a show level detail... Below is a series of photos of the detail from the begging to the end which left this Pontiac GTO "Glowing" I was also given a specific list by of photos by the owner that the studio wanted prior to the shoot which I included below in the after shots.. Let the games begin After surface prep all paint was polished using Adams FMP, Gen 4 white pad and the Flex monster.. The chrome was in desire need of hard water spot removal, so out came the Adams blue metal polish for this task. Finished shots.. Adams for the win on this GTO! Green Wheel Cleaner, All Purpose Cleaner and VRT handled this combo, from the wheels, red lines, rims and fiberglass OEM well liners Lots "o" chrome was treated with Adams blue metal polish Ready for the camera Fully functioning electric top, man so simple and yet all these luxury car makers make it so complicated with all the electronics... Thank you for viewing and to all at Adams for your awesome support! Edited July 31, 2012 by Innovative Detailing
