Captain Awesome
So what products do you dilute and what ratio? The only thing I dilute at the moment is APC at 50%. This cleans almost everything, but if it doesn't, 100% does.
0 fito
Same here, I Dilute the Green Wheel Cleaner. Even though I buy it by the gallon I will occasionally substitute it completely by using a solution of Adam's shampoo/water with a foamer sprayer. APC w/fender brush on tires Green Wheel Cleaner on wheels w/Boars Hair Brush, Small & Medium Wheel Woolies.
0 DUKE-Z
Another vote for concentrates of water based products. I have plenty of water.
0 Tim
Most people can't do math like you guys! But I clearly see what you're saying also. I can't imagine what an over concentrated bath of APC would do... That would be Captain Americana's weapon of choice to clean up the streets. 0 camaro2ssblack
I personally love threads like this where we can discuss the ever-evolving detailing market. If I know Adam, topics like this are already being discussed and researched internally and maybe our feedback can help to provide suggestions from the end user. 0 Captain Awesome
GWC 70% to 30% water. How does wax/sealant on the wheels hold up to this? I love the results of green wheel cleaner, but it removes a good portion of the Americana I put on my wheels when I use it at full strength. Try using a mixture of Adams shampoo and water in a sprayer instead.
0 THE Mook
Gwc is somewhere between apc and Car Shampoo in pH. Therefore it will diminish longevity, but slower than apc. Mook
0 Captain Awesome
Try using a mixture of Adams shampoo and water in a sprayer instead. I will have to try this. I like what GWC does to brake dust, but I don't want to have to wax my wheels every other wash. I will save the GWC for when it is time for another coat of wax.
