No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 40% of their pay on retirement. While Politicians hold their political positions, in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full-pay retirement after serving one term. It just does not make any sense.

This is one proposal that really should be passed around.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to
the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally [/size]to the citizens of the United States."

"If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice," and these brave soldiers have given you that right!!

Man, that hit me pretty good.  It's amazing to see what people can complain about.....and have no clue what "tough" really is.

God Bless the BRAVE men and women who protect this country.  It's those soldiers that allow us appreciate the "petty" things that they can only dream of when they are fighting for their life.

That 28th Amendment will never pass because they've been allowed to get away with it for way too long.

But as a veteran, I salute every person serving in the military and your families. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. :patriot:

Brought a tear to my eye. You know what really burns my balls? The fact that we give these ILLEGALS all this free stuff, but there are vets dying and going homeless. We bow to these people who loot the system, but do so little for the men and women who made a sacrifice for their country.
