Tires?

PT3

Question

Who washes their tires every wash?

I rarely ever do more than power wash spray them only.

Then when they dry add a thin coat of shine.

Been working well for years.

So, tell me... Do YOU think I should consider truly washing them...at least once in a while....?

Curious what folks think.

Every wash.

One vehicle has smooth sidewall and they get washed when the rims do using a cheap parts store fake wool pad with shampoo in dedicated bucket.

The other vehicle has stupid fine ribs on the sidewall and requires a brush and tire bleche (another brand) every wash.

Any vehicle that I do for family that does not get the regular Adams treatment weekly gets a double dose.

Wash mine every time on both cars.  I like the new Tire and Rubber Cleaner better than the APC for cleaning them, then follow up with either VRT or Tire Shine. I like my tires looking clean and black with a nice low shine.

That's a nice ride Phil !!

Every wash. Probably the dirtiest thing on any vehicle. Not to mention how much crap any tire dressing will collect because stuff sticks to it.

Lightly watered down APC and a scrub brush for normal cleaning. Straight APC for harder caked on stuff. For the extremely stubborn I use something else.
