Washing before using

Do you really have to wash new microfiber towels before using them? If so why?

I believe Adams are ready to go out of the package. But it’s recommended so that if there were any dust to get into the microfibers during the manufacturing and packaging process, you would clear those dust particles out and have a clean towel. I  have noticed that with some towels that tend to release lint, the first wash (and dry) will really help to release the lint and be pretty much lint free for the first use of the towel.

 

but like I said I’ve had no issues with Adams towels out of the pacjage

I generally wash mine before use, but I have also pulled multiple right out the package and used them without issue.

I tend to use them right out of the bags, but I do give them a quick snap or three to clear loose fibers. No issues to date.

For me it's like new clothes. I always have them washed before wearing them.  Personal preference.

I run mine thru a Rinse cycle before use, just in case something got on them.
