Mario Gambacortta
This Tesla had about five hundred miles on it and needed a new car prep. This is the just released 2.5 Roadster Sport all electric super car. This particular car is worth just shy of $150,000! Car was in OK shape. It had plenty of hard water spot's and swirls that required a two stage correction. Hope you enjoy! Products used on the exterior: 2 Bucket's, Grit Guard, and Caddies Adam's prototype foam gun...soon to be released! Adam's Car Shampoo Adams wheel and fender brushes Power Stick Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner Adam's All Purpose Cleaner Adam's In and Out Spray Adam's Detail Spray Adam's Clay bar Adam's Undercarriage Spray Adam's Waterless Wash Adam's Glass Cleaner Ton's of Adam's Double Soft, Waterless Wash, and Glass Towel's Paint Correction: Porter Cable 7424XP Porter Cable cordless drill Adam's 7.5in foam pads Adam's 4in spot foam pads Adam's Swirl and Haze Adam's Fine Machine Polish Finished with Adam's Americana Premium Paste Wax Interior: Adam's Leather Cleaner Adam's Leather Conditioner Adam's Foam Applicators Adam's Interior Brush Metro Vac with various attachments The Detail: Car came in fairly clean Wheel wells and tires were sprayed down with All Purpose Cleaner Wheels sprayed down with Green Wheel Cleaner Agitated with various Adam's brushes including the Power Stick Foamed with our soon to be released foam gun It was a hot day, so the car was sprayed down with Detail Spray to neutralize the water Deck lid was opened to show the batteries and PEM (power electronic's). These areas were sprayed down with Waterless Wash rather than a hose and water...can you guess why? Car was also air dried with a MetroVac Vac n Blo Now for the paint. Car had tons of holograms and swirls, and one spot were bird dropping had a chance to bake in. Car was fully clayed I started with the bird etchings first using a Porter Cable cordless drill with Adam's 4" foam pads. Yellow, Orange, and White. Results Now for the PC 7424XP. The two stage process include Adam's 7.5" Orange foam pad with Swirl and Haze Remover, followed by 7.5" White foam pad with Fine Machine Polish. The Tesla was then protected with two coats of Adam's Americana Plastic and rubber trim inside and out was then protected with Adam's Super VRT and In and Out Spray The interior was wiped down with Adam's leather and Interior Cleaner, then protected with Leather Conditioner And finally the results! Team Adam's
looks good, but i'm anti electric and pro gasoline! you can guess why! (i'm a petroleum engineer) I used to think that way... but this kind of changed the way I see "alternative energy" vehicles. Specifically Leno's line towards the end about how these cars can be the "saviors" of our beloved petrol cars. I'd love to see a day where your daily driver is hydrogen powered, then cars like the Camaro SS, Mustang GT, exotics, etc become something you do purely for recreation.
Mario Gambacortta
I agree Dylan. We will always have our gasoline cars, just as long as the majority are alternative fueled. Having a chance to spend a lot of time with Tesla's in the past I can tell you 0-60 in 3.7 and about 300lb-ft of torque available instantly no matter your RPM doesn't suck!
