Hi all,
So my beloved BMW was totaled by a 20 year old girl doing her makeup
Took the opportunity to change it up, and bought a 2017 Silverado. Loving the truck so far!
Does anything special need to be done when washing engine bay on these? I added some underhood LED lighting (can't believe they stopped adding that in trucks) so Ill have cover the switch on that I think.
Thanks!

Yes the correcting polish (orange) - Polishing by hand is usually a bear and doesn't net great results, but you can try.
Only reason I'd tell you to not try is I know you said your muscular makes you weaker than most as is, so I don't want you to exert yourself when its probably not going to help much for you to do it.
Using with a machine is ideal.

I assume it happens for everyone, not just me. But when loading the main site, http://adamspolishes.com/all of the slides show first, kind of an annoying flash
This is because the JavaScript for the slider has not yet loaded and fired. You should be able to fix it by controlling the visible state of each slide via CSS and then when the JS loads it will take control, something like this;
.homepage-banner .slide { display: none; } .homepage-banner .slide:first-child { display: block; } Just a thought

thatryan got a reaction from OmniCamaro in Making an Adams Web App
So, I may have gotten bored, and this may be totally stupid but hey whatever
It started by my housemates not knowing what to use when, what goes with what etc so I wanted initially to make an updated detailing poster...but I am not a graphic designer, I am a web developer! So, I figured why not make a "living" poster that could be updated easily and add more features.
So here is a teaser of my side project, it will have ability to monitor you "on-hand" product, mark stuff to order as well. Also thinking of a handy 'notes' section that came to my head when during last wash I noticed some issues I need the dealer to address. Obviously I have not added all content and what not yet, and the content there is just placeholder stuff as I work things out.
Anyways, here are a couple teasers. Whatcha think??
Profile stock monitoring and note taking
Detailing steps, product recs etc...

Agreed with all above.
Check for a clog first, make sure the trigger assembly isn't bent and is moving freely, also make sure the female fitting on the end of the trigger isn't overly tight. It needs to be threaded on just enough to make full contact with the washer, over torquing it causes the washer to squeeze out and if it does could be in the path of the water, causing an unusual or mis-directed spray pattern.
If all else fails, give us a call at 866-965-0400 and we'll certainly take care of you.

thatryan reacted to Team Adam's in Couple Questions on products
We still might have some around - we brought them in as a promotional item to see how they would be received. It was a general mix of "meh" - not really a popular change to the blocks so the odds are they won't be back. If you care to call in and speak to Ben in the office he might be able to find a spare one for you to try. (866)965-0400
We've been using the current sprayer for a little while now. We had some durabiity issues with the others, so went to these which seem to stand up better to abuse. Its the one featured on the bottle in this product picture: http://adamspolishes.com/adam-s-basic-h2o-guard-gloss-kit.html?___SID=U
1 pump equals just under a quarter ounce, so 4-5 pumps for an ounce. Works out well for the soap so you're not trying to shake the last little bit out of the bottle.
VERY! The Borderless is about the same level of softness/plush to our single softs, but has a completely edgeless design.
If you're not having good luck with the utility towel maybe try a waterless wash towel. Ideally you do want scrubbing power though, so it can scour dirt, oils, and other stuff from the interior surfaces. Where you experiening a 'sticky' feel? Is it possible there is something on the surface?

Totally will do that! Will actually have a beta version online shortly
I have the base site and functionality done, I will probably put it up for people to play with while I add content and figure out best layout for that.
Then get back to work on the product listing and enhanced parts. Good time.

thatryan reacted to hardwareguy in New Customer....Detail Spray....Super!!
Morning!
Ordered a 6 pack for myself at Christmas time. One of the products was the detail spray and I have been watching videos on You Tube. Thought I would give it a shot on my brand new 2500HD Denali yesterday.....Holy crap! That stuff is amazing. I love the glide with the white drying towel. I ordered a bunch more stuff last night and reorganizing (giving away) all of my other crap that I have been using. I am pretty sure my shelf will be screaming Adam's in short order!!
