  1. The Model number for the 16-32oz Caplug is NAS834-75 10 (looks like a T-series plug) Can anyone send me the model number for the Gallon plugs? I would like to purchase more of them as all of my gallons came with the aluminum breathable seals?
  2. Before I had a buddy recommend Adam's, I was washing (single bucket with used foam and wash rags), claying and then applying cheap wax with a rotary buffer from the 70's or 80's with the "tie on" pads. This was all done on cars I previously owned and thank God I don't anymore for fear of ALL the damage "I" induced into the paint of those vehicles. After countless hours of watching Adam's vol 7 and now 8 videos on youtube and here on the site, I was able to start "getting my hands dirty" with my buddy's collection and saw how much better cleaning my car can be with the right tools. I will admit that my friend could have steered me to Mequ... or Zan... or (insert blank paint protection company) and I might have felt the same way. But after researching some options, I will agree with those above that Adam's products are just K.I.S.S.. I don't have to worry about having every single product or multiple products to mix or measure out. I also don't have to use 3 or 4 different products for the exact same step within a process. I am not saying that any of the above brands are bad. The contrary actually. But for now, to get a swirl/haze free finish and protecting it "properly" with only a handful of products is awesome. Also a real wallet saver as well. (until you get hooked and then it doesn't anymore... BUT you will be one Happy person)
  3. Sorry. I didn't define that term. Thank you Ricky for explaining it.
  4. I need to ask some follow-on questions. I have been doing loads of like 5-7 towels at a time (all I have been using per week) and not thought about just getting a hamper for them specifically... I have enough towels to get through a couple washes and waxes no problem. My questions are thus... 1) When I wash them, should I separate the "utility towels" from the glass cleaning, waterless, double softs and other towels? 2) Should I separate the glass towels from the double softs or any other towels (starting to get rolled edges (no damage))? 3) Can you wash "utility" microfiber towels (Adam's or local car store or whosever microfiber standard cloths) with any of Adam's other towels? Thanks in advance. Just don't want to ruin any towels in the process.
  5. Glad the A+ customer support came through to SAVE THE DAY AGAIN!!!!! Way to Go Adam's Team!!!
  6. Does anyone else here on the forum wait in anticipation of Adam's boxes to be delivered to the front door and feel bummed when the shipment doesn't have Adam's tape around it? Preface this question with another question. Whenever you receive a box from say Amazon, Ebay, Barns and Noble or (insert blank company) during the allotted time that an equally (or more) important Adam's shipment is to be received, do you feel a little at a loss for not seeing the Adam's box, with the AWESOME Adam's logo packaging tape, at your feet, at the door?
  7. At least it didn't end up totally the vehicle out. I thought it would get close if that were to happen (aka flooded).
  8. Personally, I would do what you feel most comfortable with. If you know, honestly, that you will have the time to do the side jobs or know where you can quickly sell the whole rig for a decent price (offset the costs) then I would definitely pull the trigger on the rig. If you don't think you will have the time to sell or use the rig other places, I would just get the contractor to do it all and get it done RIGHT. Not to say you couldn't do it right, but if you mess up or break something, it is all on you. Whereas if you paid the contractor and they break something or mess something up, THEY are liable for the damages (to your property or their own equipment). Me personally, I would not pass up an opportunity to learn how to do all of this on my "custom" house. For an extra $5k, I would consider that money in knowledge transfer, well worth it. BUT... to each his own.
  9. My face has been melted. WELL DONE. The Patriot wax on the glaze looks great. Did you use the Cyclo, PC or Flex polisher for the correction?
  10. You always need to watch out for those drive-thru car washes. They are just looking for opportunities to damage your "finish".
  11. Wish I was detail the car right now instead of sitting here reading for master's classes.

  12. (gotta love technology) Time to break out the ol' pen and paper and post on the forum with sticky notes
  13. Any photos of the rides getting the Adam's treatment?
  14. What vehicles are you detailing?
  15. Nice color for the ST Patrick!!!
