It might not. I had another sealant on my wheels and green wheel cleaner took it right off. So maybe quick sealant is more durable.

They will strip wax. Use them before you start polishing and afterwards all you need is soap and water to keep them clean. Yeah it works. I have both and I wash mine after each use. I use them to polish out my wheels that are painted. This should give you an idea of the results. I have both a mini power ball for the face and a cone for between the spokes. I used a compound on the ball and cone and polished by hand as the power ball was not dry by the time I needed it for polishing. Before (don't mind the ding in the wheel) After

^^^This. But I am going to have to recommend using a non Adam's product in the Mothers mini power ball or power cone as your tool of choice with the Adam's polish and or compound. Agree with this as well.

What I do is the Garry Dean method. I use 2 buckets both with grit guards. One with MF towels and rinseless wash solution and the other is empty. No dirty towels ever get into the rinseless wash. After I finish I save the left over rinseless wash and put them in spray bottles or a garden sprayer. Then I use that as a waterless wash or to pre-soak a panel when I i do another rinseless wash.

It came out great.

I think you did the right thing. This sounds like a scam. This guy could have filed a dispute saying he never got the item and you lose out on both ends.

I was just thinking about buying some more of these tops instead of the sprayer. How do you like it compared to the sprayer?

If you have some revive polish you can use that after you clay. If you are looking for a combination of protection and looks you could use sealant > glaze > Americana or Buttery.

It more than likely etched it's way deeper than what you can remove by hand. You will more than likely need to remove it by machine.

Welcome. The only thing I see missing is a clay bar. New cars can have surface contaminants as well. Another tip is to use some wax or sealant on the wheels.

I have done the same with Adam's and non - Adam's products. Never had any issues.

I finally had the chance to use the bottle that Nick sent me. I let the previous tire dressing run it's course. I stripped the remaining tire dressing with APC and applied it by spraying directly into the foam tire applicator with two lines of product. I did one coat of tire shine on all wheels. Doing it this way gives you less shine than just spraing it and walking away. Good for those who like some shine but not overly to glossy.

^^^ Looks very nice. Did you use SVRT on the trim? My uncle has a white special edition FJ that he asked me to do. As soon as we settle on a date I will be polishing his. I washed my daily driver and applied some Adam's tire shine. I didn't get picks as I was losing daylight.

Interesting. Keep us updated. It could be the clear coat failing at the basecoat level. Looks similar to what I have on my drivers side front fender and that is what the guy at the body shop told me as I'm going to have the car repainted some time this year.

Good info. You can always glaze and wax another time after you seal the car.
