I know Adam's customer service is awesome. I'm not complaining, I'm laughing at myself because I was truly that excited. I don't need the 15% off I would have bought it no matter what. and as small as my order was it isn't worth causing those guys the extra paperwork or credit card fees.

So part of my load was the new brilliant glaze and was dying to give it a trying with my Americana wax (huge shout out to Dan the Man) and I'm stunned on how well those products work together. First of all the add on and off process was super easy with a double polishing mf towel. I live in south Texas very very south so the temperature over here is crazy so I really didn't know what to expect on the drying process. But after letting it heal for 7 minutes each the wipe on and off was very easy. After that I applied some detail spray to get some panels that still had some polish.
The results:

jeverton reacted to Greg from GA in Starting over... Adding liquid paint sealant to the mix
So not knowing that sealing paint was a thing and learning as I go, I took a recently clayed, corrected , polished and waxed car (100% Adams products) and then strip washed, feeled around to confirm claying was unnecessary, paint sealed with a PC on 1 and patriot waxed (again, 100% Adams products adding in the paint sealer and upgrading to the Patriot wax).
Here is the end result, not bad for a 2013 DD with ~40k miles. Now I have to repeat this same process on three other cars...

I wash and wax the car before every drive then when i get home i do it all over again and same as rich said, it could only be down the road a couple miles. I think i spend more time cleaning whats already clean than i do actually driving the car. I also keep towel and detail spray along with leather conditioner in the back.

swirls and scratches on paint, bird bombs which people seem to think add to the look of their car based on how long they leave them on there. I roll around with a couple of plush waffle weaves, ID, DS, Glass Cleaner and Waterless or Rinseless (16:1) in my 4 bottle Adam's Bag. I will spend my break cleaning up any small details on the car. I bring detailing products for my coworkers to try. ETC ETC ETC lol

A quick wash and detail to the black beast! We had a break in the rain today with cooler temperatures. Tomorrow I will start the next step in paint correction and seal the glass. Still debating about a ceramic coating for the DD.

jeverton reacted to Dan@Adams in VRT vs. Tire Shine
Hi there, welcome to the forum!
My vote is for VRT in this instance. If it's raining 3-4 days a week, both products are going to wear down more quickly than usual, but you will get more applications out of one bottle of VRT rather than spraying Tire Shine - a few small drops of VRT onto an applicator block can usually cover at least 1/3 of a sidewall circumference for me. I usually apply VRT twice a week on my daily driver - I want it to always look good, and it takes me less than 4 minutes to do all four tires, so I guess that makes me insane
To get the matte look with Tire Shine, you will need to keep rubbing the product in with more effort to knock down the shine to the desired look. Again this is my opinion on the matter and others may offer completely different input...that's what's great about this forum

jeverton reacted to KirkH in Tried Wash & Wax today A+!
I got a bottle of Wash & Wax in the mystery box. Used it with the large wash pad and my car looks great! Lots of suds. I probably can use less Wash & Wax next time because the suds were so abundant! Smells great too, I think it is peach or mango.
Good stuff!

Haha I know right!
I had the wax inside the box since I didn't want the wax go bad on me, down here in Texas it gets up to 100 degrees imagine the garage! So she just got the box and put it in the trash can
Thanks for the feedback! Im waiting on the 17th anniversary promotion and Im doing another order with all the goodies
I wish it was a man cave! Its my little girls play room so I was able to negotiate for that space in the corner of the room
Im truly amazed and stunned! I told my wife about what happened and she was stunned and said they have a customer forever! Once again thank you guys so much and I do mean you guys have a customer forever!

jeverton reacted to Geebee in What Are Your Most Used/Favorite Towels & What Do You Use Them For?
Just to throw my 2 cents in, my favorite towels....it's a tie between the Double Soft and the Grey Edge-less towels. A really close second is the Single Soft towel. My least favorite of all is the Yellow Window Towel. That thing is almost useless when it comes to ease of use, having to make numerous passes to get the windows streak free.
The Blue Waffle Towel ....well, not that impressed
Grey Utility Towel.....perfect for those dirty areas that I don't mind getting the towel dirty.
Prior to purchasing Adam's towels, I used to buy "The Ragg Company's" towels. They have quite a selection, but for the money I'm sticking with Adam's towels. With 3 cars to work on, I have a small stash of Adam's towels and never run out of a clean towel to use when washing and detailing.

jeverton got a reaction from bosco1 in Anyone here use a Nanoskin Wash Mitt instead of clay bar?
I agree with Scott on using all mediums. I've found the alternative clay bars to work great during a wash... keeping the car lubricated speeds up the process. Of course traditional claying achieves the best results.
