  1. I see a purpose for it if you live in a snowy rainy area. Tire shine basically comes completely off in the rain. Or if you were only able to do a wash when the weather is above freezing. Then it makes sense to do up your tires and have them looking good for 4-5 weeks. But So cal is too much effort when we can wash and reapply Tire shine each week.  I used it when we were getting all the rains a two months ago and it held up, but i was dreading the three scrubs per tire and three re applications to put it back on.

Next question... my Tire Armor is doing great... it’s been on about three weeks. I noticed it’s fading a bit. Do I need to remove it all and do the process over or can I touch it up with another coat?

I let the Tire armor run it’s course. I notice the tires starting to get brown under the coating after about 4-5 weeks. Today I used wheel and tire cleaner to take off what’s was left. When I dried the tires you could see the broken remains of the ceramic coat. Pretty cool how it was cracked looking. I would have had to do two or three more cleanings to get it off. So I just went over it with Tire Shine.

Question when you see tire blooming can you scrub with Rubber and tire cleaner to get the tires black again, or is the brown under the tire armor? I think it’s under the coating and to get it off you need to strip and reapply...

  3. So I finally did a full wash and used CS3 as a drying aid... I sprayed it all over the car when I was done with the rinse. First of all I probably sprayed to much. Then I couldn’t get around the car fast enough and it streaked and dried on. SUCKED. I had to re rinse, Dry hard to remove streaks, then reapply CS3 dry lightly to get all of the extra residue off. It does not forgive like detail spray as a drying aid. Still love it as a detail spray and WW.

  4. Gallon! always... I spray everything with CS3. Tool box, garage fridge, Grill, washing machine.....

Absolutely, CS3 is my favorite product of Adams right now, i was using the CWW as my drying aid and topper but now CS3 took over lol. However i dont use it as a drying aid as the bottle is small and cost more. My thing personally is i love going back over the dry panels with CS3 as my detailer.

I love to experiment and have plenty of red vehicles to experiment on to get a good comparison, and no I do not experiment on the clients vehicles.  Also note that my goals may differ from yours, so take your own objectives into consideration before using any of the following.    First of all, I'm not worried about the longevity of a product when it comes to my vehicles, it is all about how the vehicle looks.  However, I do track the outcome for longevity so I can determine whether or not something can be used on vehicles other than my own.

For my vehicles, I have applied BG on top of the Original Ceramic Paste Wax and Ceramic Spray Coating.  Applying BG on top of the Original CPW added a depth and made the vehicle pop the same as applying it over Americana, Patriots and even the regular Spray Wax.  The Mustang had BG applied about once a month and the CPW lasted 10 months before it was time to strip it and redo the Mustang with CSC

My truck also had BG applied when it had CPW on it, but I used a different technique from the Mustang.  I only applied BG after a wash that resulted in using Ceramic Boost as a drying aid.  I felt like this gave a layer between the BG and CPW, but to be honest I can't say that it resulted in the CPW lasting any longer, but the truck sure did look good.   I'm using the same technique now that the truck, Mustang and Terrain are all done with CSC in that I'll do a wash and when I'm apply Ceramic Boost, add the final touch of BG.  I generally do Ceramic Boost between 3 and 6 weeks according to which vehicle and how the weather has been.

My next experiment as soon as pollen season is over and I can truly see the effect is to use BG on the Terrain after going over it with CS3.  I have no idea how it will turn out, but I suspect that as good it as it looks after having CS3 applied, that extra pop will still be there with adding BG as a topper.  If not, I won't do it again...

Ok Ray you win... I don't have that much time. I CSC my Subaru and love going over it with the CS3.  I will try adding BG after a wash to see how it looks.  I can't imagine it can look any shinier than it does with CS3.

  6. Day... I can’t remember what day it is..? Anyway I did a full Tire Armor detail today.  I have been CS3ing between the rains in so cal, And every time I did tire shine, then it rains again and the tire shine instantly washes off.  So we will see how the Tire Armor holds up!

    first pic is throughly cleaned

    second pic is first application

    third pic is second application

I hope this lasts because I hate doing wheels and tires. And this was not a fun process!
