Road paint help needed

I did that once in my black Vette. I used Detail Spray and Clay bar and got it all off. That was within a day of it happening so it didn't sit on there too long. A plastic razor helps for the really tough spots too. Good luck, and make sure once he gets it all off, that he reapplies whatever polish, wax, or ceramic he had on before. -

Welcome Paula. Here's a tip. To really make it POP, get some Graphene Detail Spray or Graphene CS3 to finish off your ride after your wash . You'll be amazed at how deep, wet, and shiny it makes your car. It can be used as a drying aid as well.

And keep in mind that this process is not a QUICK process. You need a few days dedicated to it, especially since you're new to it. One day and done doesn't cut it. But you also didn't post a thing after your original post, nor did you post any pictures, so I'm beginning to think you're just here to try and stir things up.

Correct prep is 3/4 of the job if you want it done right and to get the best results.

You didn't get "taken". You just thought that it looked easy and jumped in with both feet without testing the water first. I've been detailing for many years and still haven't gone past the spray Graphene coating. It takes practice and experience. But you definitely didn't get "taken".

I'll get my pics up tomorrow . It was great to see you and Fran again Bob. We left around 2:30 today, just couldn't take the heat any more. Hit major thunderstorms on the turnpike which is never fun in a Vette with semis all around. They stopped once we got off the turnpike, no rain till right before we entered our hometown. Then the clouds released one hell of a storm. Drove home through downed tree branches and flooded roads. Wipers were going as fast as they could, but it wasn't helping. We all had our four ways on just to be seen. We did make it home by 5, and it stopped raining finally. And Scott.............where were ya buddy?

We were here till 3 and you weren't. Did the baby come? And for those asking about a party, still haven't heard anything about there being one, but the tents are up across the street, sooooooooo................maybe.

Supposed to be hotter tomorrow. And SOB, it's thunderstorming here at home right now. Will make for a crappy drive in the morning, and probably fog in the dark early morning hours. We're heading out between 5 and 6 a.m. Saw a bunch of pics from today already and it looks amazing. And in case you didn't hear, Ciocca Chevy is giving out free t shirts when you bring a card that's in your goody bag. Haven't heard if Top Flight will be including a shirt this year in the goody bag. But the car's packed up, just going to throw some ice in the cooler and water in the a.m., throw the bag, I mean my wife, in the car and heading out. See ya all there!

Exactly right Guz. You want the ceramic coat to bond with the paint. If you need a boost to the shine, use the CS3, the Graphene CS3 or Graphene Detail Spray.

You excited Scott? 🤣 Going to be 94 Thursday, 91 Friday, and 88 Saturday with isolated thunder storms. That's of today. We all know that can change. Sure wish this event was a week earlier or later.

Yep. Same here. I'm in Johnstown Pa. and it's been rain, rain, and more rain. Good. Get it out of the way this weekend!!! Rain doesn't bother me though at the show. Unless it's like it was in 05 when those straight line winds went through and tore the place up. Don't want to go through that again. Lost my tent !!

Patriot Wax and Brilliant Glaze were my go tos on my Vette before I started with the ceramics. See ya next week at Carlisle Tom! Right now, the weather looks like crap. But that can change hopefully.

That would also remove coatings that he wants to keep on. Not a good idea.
