  1. I think there's no set rule that you HAVE to do it any one way. You can still get great results with wax. Do what you're most comfortable with doing and enjoy what you're doing. It should never be a chore.
  2. For what? A refill? No, don't think they do that.
  3. Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's and Granddads out there in Adam's land. Two kids, two grandkids (in the pic). Grateful and blessed to have them all.
  4. The order for ceramic coatings is Wash, Clay, Polish, Prep, and Coat. Always polish BEFORE you apply the prep. Used to be you waited 24 hours after applying the ceramic then wipe it down with the boost. Not sure if that's changed with the Graphene stuff or not. As for the polish, either the regular Polish or the One Step Polish works fine.
  5. I had the extreme opposite on my Vette. It looks like it's been dipped in glass now with the GDS. I actually had people coming up to me asking me what I used to get a deep wet shine like that. My Vette is white, but I use it on my black Equinox too with the same results. BUT, my Nox has the Graphene paint coat applied under the GDS. I never put anything on top of the GDS once it's on.
  6. If you're married.....................you're wrong no matter what! Welcome to the forum!
  7. Depends on your car's color too. I had a crystal red metallic Impala that was hit and repaired/ front fender and door repainted, and it didn't match at all. They had to repaint it 3 times to get it right. But I've seen identical cars on lots that are shades off from each other. I agree with Chris.........take your ride with you if you can.
  8. I've been on the fence about using the Graphene on the vert top. My main concern is if will harden and crack. I'll be going to Carlisle next week and plan on picking up a new bottle of Ragg Topp, but can you convince me to switch?
  9. I use Brilliant Glaze on my stainless engine parts. Just be sure you have a CLEAN, DIRT FREE rag each time because the smallest piece of dirt will scratch it.
  10. In the spring, I strip and clay everything, then correct and polish, use the prep wipe down, then the Graphene Ceramic Spray. After that, I just wash as normal and finish up with the Graphene Detail Spray most of the time. I might do it again in late fall to make sure it's protected well for the salt and crap to come.
  11. My best advice from an old PC user..............get a Swirl Killer. The PC just killed my shoulder. Switched to the SK and it's all I use now. I'm going to be 75 here in two months, so I applaud you letting them do it. There's no way either my son in law, my son, or my grandson will ever touch my rides. It would be too much for me to fix afterwards!
  12. The Hand Polish used to be the Revive Polish. It works great filling in any imperfections and cleaning the paint. Good stuff. I used it constantly before I finally got up the nerve to try, and then switch to the Swirl Killer polishers.
  13. That sucks. But they'll ship you out another one asap. Give them a call.
  14. Welcome to the forum. There is actually a video on each product if you click on that particular product. Just remember that with any of the ceramics, you'll get the best results with proper prep first.
  15. Welcome to the forum Dan. Glad to have you join us. Ask away!

    Hello

    Welcome to the forum!
  17. Not necessary. I personally use the Brilliant Glaze on my glass, especially inside. Gets rid of that film that every car gets inside on their glass.
  18. Don't know which ceramic you went with, but the Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating is a bit more forgiving than the Graphene Ceramic Coating and the UV Ceramic Coating. Easier to use and learn with when you're just starting.
  19. Welcome to the forum Mike! Before you do a full ceramic coating, you want your paint to be the best you can get it. Not everyone (hardly anyone) gets it right the first try. Make sure you have really good lighting when polishing so you can see each area as you're doing it, and so you can see those smaller swirls and scratches. Usually, it takes me two days just for the spray ceramic coating till I have all the steps completed and the coating is set.
  20. We aren't ignoring your question Tyler. We're looking into it so we can give you a solid answer. Hang in there.
