  1. Great ideas, Phil! +1 for engine bay. Some other ideas: - Cleaning cloth seats. I could only find ones for leather interior and/or carpet mats, but nothing for cloth seats. - Updated headlight restoration
  2. Yep, that's the one. It has already been released. Similar to the red tire brush from before, just shorter bristles.
  3. FP - coconut Red CS - cherry GS - alcohol (not the yummy kind ) Odor Neutralizer - familiar, but can't quite place it...anyone????? And yes, I mean straight from the bottle, not post-application when there's eventually "no" smell!
  4. I also use them for an alcohol wipe-down to remove polish residue prior to PS application.
  5. Happy to hear your processes are starting to take shape, and more so that the results are awesome (not surprised!). Couple suggestions: While it certainly doesn't hurt, if you need to save a little time in the future, for a daily driver, there's no real need to dry the car after you SW. Clay can be used on a wet vehicle along with the DS (see Adam's Daily Driver Detail video, around the 11:15 mark - but watch the whole thing). If yours is a garage queen, drying it makes sense. HGG should only be needed about every 3-6 washes, or so. I know it smells awesome, but save a little product. It'll last, and you can get your fix by simply opening the bottle! Can't speak to how often to apply Americana, but I'm sure it looks great on your car. For water spot removal, what have you tried? DS and/or WW could be a solution. For more info, see here: http://adamspolishes.com/how-to-remove-water-spots To cut down on the possibility of water spots in the future, here are some basic tips: 1) Don't apply water to the entire car until it's absolutely necessary. While you may have to blast off some caked on stuff, the rest of the car can wait. In other words, after the wheels and exhaust tips are done, then foam down the car with a FG or FC (if available...and if not, get one!), wash it with a wash sponge/pad/mitt, and then...finally...rinse the entire car off. The "rinse cycle" should be the first water applied to the entire car. After the rinse, the clock starts to dry it. 2) Wash the side in the sun first. Doing so will allow the pH neutral soap to dry on the car first vs. the water. 3) Apply DS as a drying aid, right after you rinse. 4) Get a Sidekick and a new ultra plush drying towel. Both will aid significantly in your fight against water spots! Now, let's see some pics of the sealed up blue beauty!
  6. I think a pretty common themed answer you'll get is "it depends." With that said, my recommendation, since results will likely vary between your ride and others' - is to apply HGG on 2 wheels (opposite sides) and Ceramic Boost on the other 2. Then, after maybe a month or so, compare the results side-by-side for what worked best for you and your driving conditions, habits, etc.. Besides, having both products in your arsenal won't hurt anything...well, except maybe your bank account! Don't forget to post your findings here!
  7. 4 orders total...or 4th today?! Either way, welcome to the addiction, Mike!
  8. Good luck with your new toys! Everything I've read on the SK indicates it's an awesome machine. And I think the orange Sidekicks are gone...honestly, I think I got one of, if not the, last one (disappeared off the site around the exact time mine was ordered, sorry!)...but you can always call the HQ to see if one is laying around the warehouse. And you're welcome!
  9. This may be a simple miscommunication. While the site says "no gloss enhancers," Dan T. overruled that in his post you referenced above (and the portion in bold corrected a post I made ) and I think I've read similar posts from him other places. If it's not "wax" added to the WW, maybe another product or chemical is included for "very little shine enhcancement." Dan T....
  10. Didn't you already say you'd get one?! Yes, I guess you could dry the car, but it's not the recommended purpose (meant more for cracks, crevices and tires). If trying the whole car is what you're after, I think many on here would instead recommend either the Air Force or Master Blaster. For me, I have the GWT and new plush towel (just got it, though, so haven't tried it yet), and the Sidekick. That combo works perfectly for me.
  11. It's already out. Don't think they've updated the website yet, though. But when you order a tire brush, I think you'll get the one with shorter bristles now instead.
  12. Welcome to the addiction, Adan! Marine, by chance? If so...Go Air Force, Sink Navy!
  13. ^^^ What he said. LOVE red calipers! But must admit, at first glance, thought you had them on the grill. I thought, what the !%×#÷?!
  14. Some more thoughts, if I may... I asked this very question about dropping the clay at the recent clinic. With the new Visco clay, Adam said it's not necessarily true (anymore) to toss it if it falls. Check it, and use common sense, was basically his answer. Also, it's time to replace it when it gets tacky or swollen with DS and contamination. Remember, all that gunk is getting absorbed in the bar, so it will "grow" over time. Always store it in the jar, and it'll last you quite a while.
  15. Welcome to the addiction, Tyler! Nice ride. Love the color.
  16. While I struggled with it, too, I finally figured out the difference is in the name... Waterless Wash requires no water. Just use the product straight out of the bottle and some WW towels and you're all set. Used for light dust and dirt, as well as fingerprints. Some very minor shine added. (P.S. WW smells amazing ) Rinseless Wash requires a large bucket of water and several Double Soft Towels. Then, you can go to town, without the need to rinse after you wash the car. Perfect for a dirtier vehicle, but not the caked on stuff (you'll need to get it off the car somehow...maybe with a hose or rinse at a local self serve car wash). This seems to have more shine enhancers than the WW. As Dustin said, diluting the RW creates a waterless wash-like solution, and at a much more economical price point. About 2-3oz added to water in the 32oz spray bottle works great. But, again, you lose the smell of the WW (Rinsless smells good, too, but not the same).
  17. Did you mean Glass Boost? Maybe both? There's a difference, so be mindful when you place your order.
  18. Depends on what effects you're after...longest protection, most shine, etc.. And is it a daily or garage queen? Since I only have daily drivers, I go PS, HGG every 4 or so washes, and BG when the mood strikes me. Product application in that order. I'm also considering adding W&W to my routine. I don't use any of the waxes, though, so I'll defer to others that may use all four of your products. Be sure to watch the videos (twice!) on the Adam's site, http://adamspolishes.com/video, and on YouTube, as they could help answer some questions, too. By the way, the new acronym for PS is "P S" (no space), which will automatically revert to the full name. "Liquid" is not in the product title anymore. See this thread for more acronyms: http://www.adamsforums.com/topic/31826-acronym-expansion/.
  19. Dropped my Foam Gun. Pouted. Crying myself to sleep.
  20. Or move the car forward 5ft forward. Save the money for more Adam's stuff. P.S. Jim, I laugh because I can totally relate!
  21. Being from WV, I've been accused of one leg being shorter than the other. You know, from "walking on hills and mountains" in my formative years and what not. So I guess I can relate. Still, welcome, Scott!
  22. Welcome to the addiction, Scott! Yes, the Adam's "rabbit hole" runs long and deep, but you're in the right place for a map. Some great info and even better people on here. Nice ride, by the way. But are all CA homes built at an angle like that?!
  23. Of course. Where else would blasts of warm air come from?! Oh, wait... Keep the stories/lessons coming. Pics welcome, too!
