  1. If you use a LSP (like paint sealant, HGG or the ceramic spray) on your wheels, the brake dust will be much easier to clean. You then won’t necessarily always need the wheel cleaner. I use paint sealant and HGG every few washes. Keeps them in a manageable condition. I use regular car shampoo for maintenance washes, and only need the wheel cleaner once in a while. Eventually I’ll ceramic coat mine.
  2. Those wheels deserve their own photo. Nice!
  3. Fried Chicken dipped in a North Carolina sauce. Fist time making it. Will make it again!
  4. Hat —————————> Ring! Thanks for the fun Dan and Adam’s team.
  5. Can someone make me some double soft mittens? 🤪 kidding 🤔 not kidding
  6. There was an Instagram post in November about marine grade ceramic coating. See below
  7. They are absolutely *not* worth the money! You can get perfectly good Premium Certified high speed HDMI cables for cheap. Monoprice.com and Amazon (AmazonBasics) brand are good no-frills cables to get. They are built well and are inexpensive—we use both brands in our home theater system. HDMI cables pass a digital signal, they work or they don’t. As long as the cable is rated for passing the necessary bandwidth (the reason for choosing a Premium Certified high speed HDMI cable), you’re good to go. There is no good reason to spend more than $10 for a 6 ft HDMI cable. More good info here: https://www.cnet.com/news/best-hdmi-cables-for-your-new-4k-and-hdr-tv/
  8. Finally got both our cars washed. It will last only a day, but I’ll enjoy it. The interiors need some attention, but maybe maybe next weekend. Time to have lunch and prep some goodies before the game.
  9. I know there are a few golf enthusiasts on this site. Feel free to contribute to this thread for general golf chat, share accomplishments, stories or the like. As someone else said, it might die with this post, or might survive a while— time will tell! Who who here has had a hole in one? (I have been close!) What is your favorite course in the state you live, and favorite out of state course (that you may have played on a vacation or other trip?) The Waste Management Phoenix Open is the first PGA event of the year that I tune in to. Who else will be watching?
  10. +1 I don’t think my car has been washed since before Thanksgiving. I’m about to lose membership here. We are -13 with -33 wind chill, and it’s cold AF to me. So I can’t even imagine colder, @Mbrazelton ! Brrrrrr....
  11. Make sure you have a certified high speed HDMI cable. The 4K @ 60 Hz port is the one to use, I believe that is HDMI 5. Make sure you set that port to “Full HDMI color” in the input settings menu. The Apple TV should work with the 4K @ 60 Hz setting then. Also update the firmware of your tv if you haven’t done so. Hopefully this helps!
  12. Since I didn’t want to put a clear coat on mine, I had Xpel put on them. I had planned to do it myself but it was a decent price to have it done. So I just had my shop do it. No issues. Can’t tell it’s there. It’s only been a year, so no long term feedback, but I don’t expect any issues.
  13. ^ And crab legs! Butter bell
  14. As JR stated They are not a replacement for a pressure washer. Will you like it? It depends on how it would work into your routine. Will it improve on a process you already have? I have had no issues with either of my units. I like my sprayer and foamer for presoaking bugs on the front of my car and presoaking my rockers and wheels. I use either the foamer with car shampoo, or sprayer with Rinseless diluted 16:1. It saves on the trigger finger, and goes faster. Could I function without them? Yes. But they have improved the process I already had in place.
  15. Leather seems to be one of the scents that comes back regularly. I usually stock up when it comes back. You could reach out to one of the resellers and check with them.
