  1. You will get mixed opinions, but DS should be ok, the reason that is, is because DS has a very very small amount of carnuba in it, making it a wax booster. H20 guard is a sealant, that lasts 3-4 months, so I wouldn’t use that. Matte detailer is meant for matte finishes, so unless you had a matte finish, stripes, etc. you don’t need to use it, but it should be ok on a coating because it has no wax booster. Is the challenger matte? Where are you looking to use matte detailer?
  2. Did you get up to 100mph??
  3. I wring it out. Awesome. I’ll send an email to you at dan@adams. I won’t be switching to the sponge but I might switch to the red mitt. I do really like the merino mitt though, one of my favorite products. Nice to know that I’m not the only one though.
  4. Welcome to the forums! Sorry no recommendations.
  5. If you want a nice matte factory finish with some protection then use the total interior detailer. If you want a deep nice looking interior use the leather conditioner, it will leave lots of protection, especially on leather. Maintain with total interior detailer, leather and interior cleaner will strip any leather conditioner.
  6. I need a Hellcat! Now...how do I get one...
  7. Same here in Minnesota! I hate smart post!
  8. This has happened to me once before, and I am not sure what I’m doing wrong. The mitt has been used about 10 times, I clean via spraying it on the grit guard, and letting dry in the bucket, I don’t snag on the emblems, well maybe once, but I didn’t see any damage after. I only touch the mitt with a hose, no pressure washer, I pump soap on it and spray to make suds like normal, what is going wrong! I send an email to Ryan a while back and got a new one. Already sent an email to Ryan but I got an auto response that he won’t be back until the 11th. Anyone else having this issue?
  9. I go big or go home and buy the gallon of car shampoo! Most of my customers cars are not in perfect condition, so I don’t need to use tons of foam, 2-3 oz is usually enough to be plenty safe, while also having enough foam on the car so it won’t drip off. I would definitely check your area, but I currently charge $25-30 depending on how dirty it is and what size. A wash includes a safe wash, wheels, tires, wheel wells, tires dressed, and if they have nice exhaust tips I clean those too. On all my details I clean both sides of the glass, no point of having an interior detail and having the inside glass clean, when the outside glass is dirty. Not sure what you mean by mini detail, but if I am doing a wash n seal or wash n wax I will wash all the outside, do all the glass, ALWAYS do the door jams, and then seal or wax the paint, dress tires. It’s all in the details. A little tip if you have to do rinseless or waterless then use a 2 or 3 gallon sprayer filled with water so you can clean the wheels and tires. Using APC instead of wheel cleaner and tire and rubber cleaner save a lot of money because most cars don’t need those strong chemicals.
  10. I was just about to recommend total interior detailer and then I saw your post. Nice Hemi by the way!
  11. I fill it with just soap and go. Just kidding I do want to try that sometime though. I normally use about 2-3 oz on customers cars, 3-4 oz on more important cars.
  12. Detail Spray should be fine since it has so insignificant wax in it. I wouldn’t use DS 5 times in a row though.
  13. Fresh out of the factory paint is baked on so you can do whatever you want right away. From the body shop or a repaint I'd wait 90 days before doing anything besides normal washing. I do think using the brilliant glaze is okay, maybe someone else can chime in, though, it has no protection.
  14. He is using the dilution ratio he likes to use for the foam cannon. Also I think the 32oz are gone, haven't been on the site for a while.
  15. Ok, and lol I wouldn't waste time with tape, just wipe the excess VRT off the paint lol.
  16. I second using APC or tire and rubber cleaner with a utility towel and scrubbing.
  17. Welcome to the forums! Love the matte hood!
  18. In the video he used brilliant glaze to clean, not to dress the stripes. I would recommend cleaning the stripes with revive hand polish, APC or brilliant glaze to remove the hazing and then dressing with VRT or matte detailer.
  19. Welcome to the forums! Waterless Wash can be used on the roof. Detail Spray or interior detailer will make that piece look great. Just clean and reapply. Welcome to the addiction!
  20. You used the wrong product! Use brilliant glaze on gloss stripes. Use VRT on matte stripes or use matte detailer. First remove the screwup by wiping with APC, then use VRT to make it look good.
  21. 110° is crazy! I would not try to correct a finish or keep chemicals outside then!
  22. Use a drying aid brother, and don’t dry in the sun! 1. Wash your car on a day where there is not a lot of sun, or wash early in the morning or wash in the evening. 2. After your final rinse mist the car with detail spray and start drying.
