  1. Have you ever tried using the heat gun to dry the he paint faster?
  2. Paint pen with the paint color until filled, then 2 costs clear (other side of paint pen is clear coat), then wet sand, polish, ceramic coat. Obviously let it dry between coats and before you wetsand
  3. In winter I use the gallon sprayers to clean wheels, and at Barret Jackson Adams uses WW filled in gallon sprayers to wash cars. I have heard the Chaplin ones are good. Tell me what you buy and if it’s good!
  4. This is a miracle for winter washing in Minnesota! I was worried about the cordless at first...but I just watched a review and it seems to be good.
  5. I would strip wash, then clay, then polish the coating off withcorrecting polish, then do another strip wash if you want, for sure do a wipe down with diluted isopropyl alcohol (1:1) or use Adams Coating Prep.
  6. This is a million dollar idea, especially for winter washing! https://www.snowjoe.com/products/sun-joe-ion-40v-5-0-ah-1160-psi-cordless-pressure-washer
  7. Yeah I never liked Megs quik wax... hmmm
  8. Not sure which type you’re talking about, do you have a picture?
  9. Lucky my coin wash says no bucket washing when busy!
  10. Awesome! Might I ask what you did for the suede? Carpet and upholstery cleaner? Also, where did you get those Adams plate covers!!
  11. I know exactly what this is. I did the same thing with a utility towel by accident lol. I was prepping a sprayed truck bed liner for VRT, so I sprayed APC in a utility towel and wiped, lol that was a bad idea. The sprayed bed is rough.
  12. That sounds so illegal since I’m on a water ban right now
  13. I need the blueprints for woodshop class next year
  14. Awesome! I think some people don’t skip it because sometimes there is still correction to do. Definitely have more protection than wax. Wax is not known for protection anymore. I would get a sealant on (PS or H20 guard) and then top with buttery wax. If you want really good protection and amazing hydrophobic properties look into ceramic coatings!
  15. It was sure slippery and sudsy. Worked good. Still wondering what Detailers Domain uses, they say they use 2-4 oz but BS lol the canister looks dark blue!
  16. Make sure you cover those towels so they don’t get dusty and scratch.
  17. It actually didn’t go fast. I think Detailer’s Domain instagram stories use just soap to foam cars down.
  18. You could use the correcting polish with the microfiber cutting pad, but I would not use it like that. Microfiber pads tend to heat up and to push the fibers down, and make the microfiber flat, so they don’t cut as fast or work as well. I would try the correcting polish (orange) with the orange foam pad first, then if you need stronger use the correcting compound (blue) with the microfiber cutting pad. It would be safe to use and would work, but I wouldn’t do it. Also, invade you didn’t know, you don’t need to do 3 steps, you can skip from the correcting compound to the finishing polish, that is if you have removed all the defects.
