Make sure you remember to shut the hoses off after you're done using it. They build pressure and can explode allowing the water to run free for hours draining your well.

I have 8 months of cold winter. We have heated garages to solve this dilemma.

She decided she was going to wash and wax the car yesterday. I drove in the drive to see her doing a two bucket wash.  Brought a tear to my eye

I have found the tire n rubber cleaner makes cleaning alot easier than using the APC, you arent having to put as much effort in.

Tire n rubber cleaner is a definite must have in your cleaning regiment

You are going to get some dust when you polish, it is normal, just make sure the pad is clean after you are done polishing. Try spraying a shot of detail spray into the pad before you start polishing, you will have more polish then.

You also are probably not applying enough pressure. It really takes 3-5 pounds of pressure to compound or polish. I think this is your biggest problem for not getting the swirls and scratches out.

Flex 3401 with Adams two step (sometimes three step) paint correction, clay bar, Brilliant Glaze, and Buttery, Americana, and Patriot wax used on various vehicles. Hope these help.

I wash and wax the car before every drive then when i get home i do it all over again and same as rich said, it could only be down the road a couple miles.  I think i spend more time cleaning whats already clean than i do actually driving the car.  I also keep towel and detail spray along with leather conditioner in the back.

Simply, if you haven't tried this BG "trick" already, do it.

I finally got time to apply it to the interior of my windshield (haven't done the rear view mirror yet, as Beemer suggested). Used the MF pad to apply, then a SST to remove the residue. Voila. Clean glass with no haze. And the car smelled like coconut...or at least until I used LC on the seats.

Soooooo happy with the results. Thanks for the tip, team Adam's!

I use the Brilliant glaze at least once a month on all my vehicles. That stuff is incredible. I don't clean the windshield before hand, i just apply it to an applicator pad and BAM the windshield looks brand new without any hazing or streaking.

hostileshelby reacted to Chris@Adams in Paint Sealant Question
Most use either PS or a wax like Americana.......sealants are more durable than waxes however on darker colors carnauba waxes will gives you a deeper wetter look. That being said you could apply PS first then apply a coat of wax, on darker colored cars like red or black that combo would give you the best protection and the best deep wet look.
    Hope this helps!
