Hello everyone,
I am excited to announce that we will soon be upgrading the forum here at Adam's. The new version of this software will provide our community with a number of new features, as well as performance and security enhancements.
The forum will be offline for about an hour during this process, though we don't yet have a hard date that this will be taking place. The upgrade is primarily being handled by the support and design staff at Invision, and I will update this post as they provide additional information.

No mullet, just long hair. No perm, my hair was already curly. But I did get a flat-top...but only once!

Wolf, please tell me you had a mullet.  When I was in college, we not only had mullets but permed the back to emphasize it even more.

For the record, I was never a punk kid, or chased any fads...except for that one pair of parachute pants. And the Kangaroo shoes. And the big sub-woofer in my first car.

Here's what I do if a retailer offers a product that I'm not interested in:

I could go on for days about the holes I see in their marketing strategy, but as a hopeful future business consultant I'm not going to give out all of my advice for free lol. On that side note, no lol, im actually a woman.

I haven't tried them yet, but I am in need of some new ones and was thinking about trying the new ones. Glass is always one of the frustrating things to make right.

I think its broke again.

Take the label off an empty bottle and cut out the logo at the bottom portion. Looks to be a good size for the back window of the RC car.

Took the opportunity to change it up, and bought a 2017 Silverado. Loving the truck so far!
 
Does anything special need to be done when washing engine bay on these? I added some underhood LED lighting (can't believe they stopped adding that in trucks) so Ill have cover the switch on that I think.

Nothing all that special needed on modern vehicles. Yes, I'd cover the switch for the LED's, but everything else is pretty water tight. If there's an exposed aftermarket air filter either wrap it in plastic, or remove it and plug up the air intake tube. Common sense should lead you to not spray water directly into the alternator. Thry to not get too much water into the hood liner, they fall apart pretty easily when wet.
 
I spray the engine bay down with water from the hose and work my way around with Adam's new Eco All Purpose Cleaner and several brushes; Wheel, Trim & Lug-nut, and different size bottle brushes. Rinse with water from the hose. I'll blow the engine and engine bay dry with my Master Blaster on the 4hp setting or with my Side Kick; then close the hood, start the vehicle and let the heat from the engine dry the rest. When everything has sufficiently dried I'll look things over, and if needed, I'll clean any areas I've missed with Brake and Parts Cleaner, or Carb Cleaner.

Way back in 2006 I will admit that I was young and still learning the ways of becoming a detailing freak. My buddy Matt (thedak) came up to me at a car show and said something along the lines of "stop using that M-name product, this stuff is the bomb..." (just with a few more choice words added in there), and handed me a bottle of Detail Spray and Brilliant Spray Glaze.
 
Over the next few months I made a full switch to Adam's over the course of the next few months. Then I met Dave (BRZN) at Carlisle and he got even more hooked - I bought a PC and then a Flex as I began to learn more and become more obsessed.  As the years went on I kept trying my best to get my GTO to look nearly as good as Dave's at Carlisle. He must have been at least somewhat impressed because the next thing I knew, I was working alongside of him and Adam at the shows, and now I have my dream job of working for Adam's - interacting with dozens and dozens of detailing enthusiasts every day through the forums, email, and the Customer Support line as well as testing new products, planning events, working on write-ups, and so much more

A lot of cars now come with the lower portion of the side skirts with a rough bottom which holds a ton of dirt and road tar.  Simply put some Brilliant Glaze on an old microfiber and after just one or two wipes, it is completely gone.  
 

 

 
 

Been using the wash sponge since it came out, and I like it, but I was having a hard time rinsing it out and getting all of the soap, etc out of it.  I use it mostly on my wheels so it has a good bit of wheel cleaner in it.  I found myself spraying and rinsing and rinsing and spraying and still couldn't get it totally free of suds. Plus, there was black on it too from the wheels and tires that just wouldn't come out.
 
So today after washing the car, I asked my wife to see what she could do with it.  She grabbed the Eco APC, gave the black marks a good spray, and disappeared into the house.  Now, this thing was loaded with product and I figured she'd bring it back frustrated that she couldn't get it clean.  5 minutes later, she comes back out with a white, product free sponge! 
 
She figured out how to rinse it.  What she did was to scrub the black marks where she sprayed the Eco APC with her fingernails.  Then she ran the sponge under running water and kept squeezing. Then she figured out to keep the sponge under the running water, long side down, and just squeeze and push down, but keep the top part squeezed as she went down so that the gunk was rinsed out the bottom as she was pushing down.  The result was a perfectly clean, soap free sponge. 
 
Leave it to a woman to figure stuff out when it comes to cleaning. 

Aaaand we're done.
 

 
1. The casters may be too small for the irregularities of my haggard driveway, we'll have to see.
2. I couldn't get the bedliner to turn out evenly, and after going through $30 worth I decided to live with it.
3. My idea was to leave the bottle divider just sitting in place, that way I can just cut a larger one out if this gets filled up. Unfortunately when I roll the cart around the whole thing slides towards the towels, so I'll have to throw a screw or 2 in to keep if in place.
 
All in all it was a fun project and a good excuse to buy a few new power-tools, I just wish I had enough time each day to get it done in less than a week.

After my sister saw my Camaro, she whined at me about polishing up her hurting Dodge Dart.. young teenage boys and a small garage equals lots of scratches and swirls in the paint...

most of the scratches are cleaned up a fair amount..some will need to be painted they are so deep, but she is happy... that's all that matters anyway... I better get a good Christmas gift from her...
