....with paint made in the USA, applied with brushes and roller pads made in the USA, protected the floor and fixtures with drop cloths made in the USA, stood on a ladder made in the USA and cleaned everything up with APC made in the USA. And all bought at small owner-operated businesses. Did it cost a little more? Yep. Was it worth it? Every penny.

Today was sunny, mid 20s and the roads were dry. So when I came to one of the rural intersections I stop at on my commute I just could not resist doing my first smoky burnout of 2014. This might not have been the smartest thing I've done what with the state of thread bareness on the tires and snow in the forecast 3 of the next 6 days, but...IT HAD TO BE DONE!
BTW: The car is filthy. SMH.

thanks everyone! we're pretty stoked. i've already painted the nursery and assembled all the furniture. the wife is having a blast shopping for girl stuff now. she was convinced it was a boy and bought quite a few boy things she now has to return.

Hi guys! I just wanted to update everyone on the latest happenings. I started on a quest to better myself by losing weight in October of 2013 by having weight loss surgery. Well on January 22nd I did it! I was 343 pounds and bmi of over 45% in October so I started changing my eating habits and lost 17 pounds in like 2 months from that alone without exercise. Then came the week of liquid diet SUCKS totally but I had to before surgery now I'm one week out of the operation and just starting step two of diet to get back to real food. Basically if I can drink it I can eat it but at least I have some flavor now. As of today I'm down to 297 pounds and will find my bmi out tomorrow so I can't wait for this to continue. It will mean more energy for detailing and woodworking and kid time . so that's about it for now I'll try to update with some pics soon.

HOLY BLOODY COLD BATMAN!
The wind makes it a -42ºF. OUCH! We had deck furniture and cushions everywhere and the covers were out in the yard. That was even with everything bungeed to the deck so it couldn't move.
Did I say it was cold? OMG!

It's pretty funny when I hear people (90% of the time, Corvette owners) say that their car had never seen rain or been dirty LOL Maybe not after they owned it but I guarantee if it sat more than 8 hours in the marshalling yard at Bowling Green, it did lol KY weather can be crazy...
Anyway, always sad to see them go but MAN do you have a nice replacement. That makes it much better
