  1. One of the things that I look for on the specials is the Gallon refill kits. It is an inexpensive way to get an extra 16 oz bottle for your travel kit, an applicator and/or add to your microfiber collection.
  2. It seems like they come back in the fall for a short period of time. I bought three of them last fall and used two for Christmas gifts for my Daughters and kept the 3rd for myself. They are heavy, very warm and unbelievably soft.
  3. I'm in agreement with Juan, Nick and Brandon with the exception that I rarely get out the Foam Cannon and just use the Foam Gun with Ultra Shampoo. My vehicles are well maintained and don't know what dirt is, so they area easy to wash up with the Foam Gun and a two bucket hand wash. To apply the Tire Shine, I also use a soft a bristle brush so it gets into all the little spaces.
  4. Congratulations Chris. I know you have helped me with my transition to Adam's products and it is most certainly appreciated.
  5. If the correcting polish doesn't work, you can try #0000 steel wool, just make sure you don't grab anything more aggressive by mistake.
  6. @SgtLip and @mc2hill Since it looks like we have a triangle between Crystal River, Orlando and Ridge Manor and the map indicates that Groveland may make for a decent meeting place at some point. I've got another few months before I'll head that way unless the father-in-law needs something., but something worth keeping in mind. Donald, I come down via 301 to Ocala and then I usually jump on to 75 until we get down to Route 50.
  7. @Kyle@Adams I just tried to add some items to the wishlist and not only is the Heart not doing anything the Wishlist option on the products pages is no longer showing up. I'm not sure if there has been an issue and it needed to be taken offline or not, but it was working fine last week as far as I could tell.
  8. That was not the color I was expecting though even you said it was Plum Crazy Pearl, but I have to admit that I like it. Polished out, Ceramic Spray Coating or Ceramic Paste Wax topped with Brilliant Glaze - it would absolutely stand out at a show.
  9. I'm lovin the Ceramic Spray Coating and Ceramic Paste Wax, although I'm still torn between which is my go to product for the top end vehicles. I have 2 vehicles with the Spray Coating, 4 Ceramic Paste Wax, 2 with Americana and few others that I take care of with various Paint Sealant, Butter, Spray Wax, etc.. For those that have not tried the Wash + Coat and/or Ceramic Waterless Wash in combination with the Ceramic Spray Coating and/or Ceramic Paste Wax, you are missing out there also. The one thing that I have decided is that when I get to Florida, I'll be doing all the Florida vehicles and Golf Carts with Ceramic Spray Coating. I'm bit undecided on what to with the Uncles 36' camper since the effort to do it all with Ceramic would be a real paint, but the regular Spray Wax would be easy and I know it lasts 6+ months, so I'd only have to mess with it twice a year.
  10. If it is the Ceramic Spray Coating, I would try a little Brilliant Glaze and see if it allows it to be fixed. I did that with my son-in-laws truck, but it had only been on there about an hour.
  11. Welcome to the Forum Charlie and don't forget to post a picture of your Charger Scatpack.
  12. Here's the ling to the long list of products and what the expansion should show:
  13. I have some super cheap microfiber rags that I used for applying the trim restorer, don't use a good towel, it will permanently stain it. I wear a pair of throw away gloves, put the microfiber rag over the gloved hand and then put the Trim Restorer on the Rag, only using my index finger. From there I can go over the area adding Trim Restorer as needed. If you are not very steady in doing something like that, then tape off the painted part of the car with Blue Painters tape. Any time I'm doing using Trim Restore or similar type product, I try to let it cure 24 hours before I put anything over it. The Mustang has Ceramic Paste Wax on the body, but nothing on the trim, although I may hit the trim and top with Ceramic Spray Coating when I go over it later this fall.
  14. Welcome to the forum Bryan. What is it with the Wife's vehicle being in the garage and guys toys sitting outside? Oh well, I don't argue with my wife either that is why her vehicle is inside and mine is in the driveway.

    Fabric Pens

I'll recommend going to an upholstery shop since they have the pens, dyes and can color match to blend it in. In fact, most of the shops are even able to repair any stitches that are broken. Repairs can run as low $20, so it is worth getting an estimate before trying a DIY method.
  16. People collect various things and all that matters is that the collector enjoys it. My collections might be considered odd by some standards, two rooms in the house are dedicated to Eagles: Figurines, paintings, steel imprints, etc., The master bedroom covers the USCG from 1790 forward, including every Seal there were has been since the Revenue Cutter Service came into existence. Being a Air Force brat, I don't hide that part of my life either. There are also people that don't understand the need to have over 1,000 golf balls that will see play, although I do have plenty that do see play. My ultimate collection is the Red Vehicles of which I've had more than a few and am always looking for another one to bring back to life in all its glory. I also enjoy seeing what others collect and find the detail spray and other limited edition chemicals interesting even if they are not something I'm interested in collecting.
  17. What a great idea. I have a couple of 1 gallon buckets and this will work perfect for cleaning the pads. I need to get more pads since I just moved to a Swirl Killer and the old stuff is not compatible and they were getting worn down anyway. One of the things I want to do is make sure the new pads are cared for as much possible. My normal plan of attack is three pads for an average vehicle. One for each side and one to cover the hood and tail On small cars I have managed to do the entire vehicle with one pad and on the Suburban it was 6 pads. I tend to stay away from using the brush only because I've had a couple of lower quality pads that got chewed up, so I found other methods.
  18. Pictures always help with showing the item to get the best recommendation, but I'll make the best judgement call that I can based on your description. For the Mustang, I used the Black Trim Restorer, https://adamspolishes.com/collections/wheel-tire-cleaning-liquids-chemicals/products/adam-s-black-trim-restorer This is another product that a little goes a long way. I did the Mustang in three passes, adding a thin coat three days in a row. The Mustang was in the garage and I was reconditioning the top at the same time with a different product, so no weather touched it between coats. The picture is the best one I have of the Cowl shortly after it was done. The Cowl is the original 1998 Cowl and it has not been repainted.
  19. Please remember to share the before and after pictures.
  20. If the vehicle is in really good condition, basically no marring or swirls, Revive Hand Polish is an excellent choice to bring out the luster. The rule of thumb is to always start with the least aggressive method possible and the best results I've had with Revive is to follow the directions on the bottle to the letter. If you need to go to the next level, it would be Finishing Polish or One Step Polish which you can use by hand. The only way to know which one to use for the vehicle is the condition of the paint and by doing a test spot. When it comes to whether or not to Clay, I recommend you start with the baggie test. If the vehicle does not need to be clayed, then don't do it. I'm also an advocate of the Mitt, the same as @falcaineer but it comes down to how much additional marring will it cause. If I know I'm going to polish the vehicle, I go straight to the Mitt, if the vehicle doesn't have much marring and now swirls, then I go to the regular Clay and Detail Spray as the lube. Of note, the Buttery will look great and smells fantastic, but it doesn't last very long. In the south, we can get a month during the summer and 2+ months during the winter. The one benefit with Buttery is that is very easy to work with and in an hour you can have a entire Car or SUV done. I always keep some Buttery on hand for the person who comes by and wants a quick wash and wax. To keep the Buttery wax looking good, go over the vehicle on the regular basis with Detail Spray. If you have a special weekend that you really want the car to Pop, go over it with Brilliant Glaze, just remember that Brilliant Glaze will only last a couple of days, but it will give it that Wow factor.
