  1. That fence looks great! Anytime I hear vinyl fence, I think bright white. I like the darker color that you used. It's less intrusive. I'd like to see how the Wash and Coat works
  2. Check out their YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/Adamspolishes
  3. That does look good. I'll have to mix a bottle up and try it next time.
  4. +1. It happened last week when trying to tag someone. I don't remember if I finally figured it out or not
  5. I'll try that. I've been wanting to make 50/50 VRT but I haven't figured out how to use half a bottle of VRT. It's not one of my favorite products. I just haven't really found a good way to use it
  6. Yes, APC is All Purpose Cleaner. Here is the Surface Prep that Adam's sells. This step cleans residue from the surface so that your Last Step Product is bonding to bare paint. I use 50% isopropyl from the pharmacy. I just dump a little bit on a borderless towel and wipe the car down after polishing.
  7. Last weekend, I washed the engine bay. Yesterday, I decided to try out In and Out Spray. That stuff is awesome!
  8. That process sounds perfect. I wouldn't use Dawn. You could mix a few ounces of APC in with the car wash soap if you'd like. Claying and polishing will remove any wax on the paint though. Decontamination and polishing can absolutely be needed. After clay, start with finishing polish on a test area (usually the hood) and see how it looks. If you're happy, there's no need to use correcting polish. I would also add surface prep before the wax, either Adam's or just 50% isopropyl alcohol. PS: we like pictures. Show off that new car! PPS: don't forget to introduce yourself here.
  9. I was just starting a conversation to hopefully be used when future confusion arises. I only have the mitt and that's what I prefer. @rrmccabe I thought that was the proper course of action. Use the least aggressive as possible, similar to polishing. But it's different than polishing in that you don't need more than one step of claying. I wanted confirmation though.
  10. I see that there are now 3 different types of clay on the site, along with the Clay Mitt. Where does Visco Clay fall in line with Fine Grade Clay and Medium Grade Clay? Is Visco the most aggressive clay? I see that the Clay Mitt is " slightly more aggressive than our Visco Clay Bar". Would it be necessary to use medium grade followed by fine grade or are the different grades to be used depending on level of contamination? Is it beneficial to use the geo impression tool on Fine and Medium clay as well?
  11. WOW! I love that truck
  12. I noticed that one was well. The gallon alone is cheaper because it is part of the Flash Sale. I'm wondering if they would give the gallon and 16oz for $38.99 if you reached out with the discrepancy?
  13. You're one of the reasons that this is such a great community to share and learn. Congrats on the milestone!
  14. I'm not sure what that means. I have an empty DS bottle that I fill with water. I'd like a bottle that is actually labeled "Water" since it exists.
  15. Looking for a bottle or 2 of the Adam's Water. I have Tire Shine and Interior Detail spray to trade. I think I also have ID and VRT already in a box and ready to go, I could ship this afternoon. I don't think water is technically a chemical so if someone is close to HQ and can send a couple for close to cost, I have Paypal ready.
  16. I'm the same. I love using them and having different scents. The label is the main attraction. I don't really care if there is a liquid in them or not. There are others that might value "new, unopened" but it's not a big deal to me.
  17. I want to see what the Cinco de Mayo smells like. I don't think I'll ever be able to get my hands on one though. I love the Untamed Detail Spray. I think it's coconut. I probably won't ever get my hands on another one of those either lol. It's probably a sin to use it but I just love the smell.
  18. *Googles how far Des Moines is from Indianapolis*
  19. Since I moved to Indianapolis about 2 years ago, I haven't eaten Subway. There are so many other sub places that I prefer; Jimmy Johns, Which Wich, Potbelly, Firehouse, other local places. I loved the meatball sub at Subway. It was either that or Ham and shredded cheddar.
