  1. I've spend the last 2 weekends working on desk. I got the frame built last weekend. I sanded on the frame throughout the week. This weekend, I painted the frame and put the top together. Now to sand, stain, and poly the top. I needed to have something semi comfortable to sit on while painting.
  2. Let us know if you get a lead! My brother had a truck like that and I'd love to grab a couple.
  3. By spraying into a towel, you prevent overspray. It also helps the product last longer as it won't get blown away as you're spraying it onto the paint. I would think it would work either way but you have more control over it if you spray it directly into a towel and only apply it where you want it.
  4. That looks great! I thought the first picture was a mirror
  5. We went to Naples for a day. It's beautiful down there. I guess the whole area is. I just looked at your website. You get to work on some beautiful cars.
  6. There is no need to dry before claying. I don't think it's even necessary to rinse. You can use the suds as lubrication for the clay. You'll want to use DS or diluted Rinseless wash for lubrication as well. When I have done it, I washed and left wet. Clayed with the mitt and DS. Then rinsed everything off and applied HGG. I'm sure many others will chime in but this process is typically what I have used and heard other suggest.
  7. I know the lights show more that what would normally be seen. I have just noticed it with a few vehicles that I have worked with. I have heard the term "orange peel" but I didn't really know what it meant. That describes what I was talking about perfectly! I meant perfect as in smooth. I know it gets contamination and scratches and such from travel and the dealership. Thanks for the info and explanations. Again, great work! I love seeing all the cool cars that you get to work with.
  8. That car looks great! The background is sweet too. Great work. I see a pumpkin spice air freshener. It might be my favorite scent. I have only tried a few though so time will tell.
  9. These looks great! I noticed something in the Jeep pictures that I have noticed on other cars. In the first picture above, I see what looks like textured paint on the pillar behind the door. I can also kind of see it on the fender in the second picture. Is this just the nature of some paint that manufactures use? Since the Jeep is brand new, it can't be a defect. It seems like could take away from a mirror like finish that other cars can end up with. It still looks amazing. I just think it's weird that some cars have "textured" paint while others have glass smooth paint.
  10. Makes sense. I was wondering why they looked so different. Thank you!
  11. Did the formula change recently? I noticed I have a bottle that’s a different color than the other 2. It also smells slightly different I think.
  12. Absolutely! I've been wanting one. I just have to figure out which insert to use now. Off to the search bar! 🔎
  13. Everything was there except instructions if they’re normally included. It seems fairly simple though. Now I just have to pack it up for my trip to Florida so I can test it out. He said he signed up to be a dealer to get a discount for he and his friends and ended up getting 3 of these.
  14. I thought those looked like the tips in the canister. I'll check for the tube when I go to pick it up. Is it just like aquarium type tubing? Just asking in case it isn't there and I'd need to find a replacement.
  15. I found a Foam Gun on the Facebook Marketplace. It says new in box but the box is a little rough and there is a picture with the box open. He was asking $25 but said he'd take $20. Does it look like everything is here? Does anyone have a list of what should be in the box? I just want to make sure it's not missing anything major.
  16. Oh dang, I just looked at the map again. I thought it was more southern. Maybe we will hit it on the way back. We are driving from Indiana. We have always taken 75 down I'm pretty sure.
  17. Thank you for the ideas! St Augustine is on the other side of the state but we were thinking about making a trip over there to explore anyway. We are driving so I'll keep that construction in mind. I'll mention it to my family when we plan our route.
  18. Good Morning Everyone! My family is traveling to Ft Myers to spend Christmas with my grandparents. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on things to do in the area. I have been many times but it's been 5 years since the last time. My girlfriend has never been to Florida. I'd like to find a nice Christmas light display at least. I was also wondering if there was an Adam's dealer around there. I know there is a map on the site but I don't see one close to Ft Myers.
  19. That Subie...🤤 Welcome to the forum!
  20. I don't have the new buckets but I have a USA 3.5gal and Sticker Bomb 5 gal and whenever I try to scrub my mitt or sponge, the grit guard just spins around. I have to make sure that I am rubbing directly across the middle.
