  1. Bingo, you got it Jim. The seller hired a company to fix a few electrical and plumbing issues and they couldn't get scheduled before we closed so they just wrote checks. They guys did the work on Thursday. I didn't have water when I went over Thursday night and when I came back Friday after work, that is what I saw when I walked it. The water shut offs in the kitchen upstairs began leaking at some point. I don't know how or when the water came back on between Thursday evening and Friday evening. The plumber must have tried to use the shut offs when he tried to rebuild the kitchen faucet. I'm guessing turning them caused the old, brittle seals to go bad and they began leaking. The plumbing company is covering some (they better cover all) of the damage. There was a water restoration company out this morning and they checked walls, floors, and cabinets and found moisture in almost all of the kitchen floor. All of the lower cabinets contained moisture. It sounded like a lot of it would be able to be dried and salvaged but they said all of the lower cabinets would likely need to be replaced. We have to be out of our current place by 9/13 so this should be a pain in my rear for the next 2 weeks. Fingers crossed everything moves quickly.
  2. Well the unexpected happened.
  3. I need that in Indiana. There is even the Cars and Coffee DS. Any other Limited Edition items?
  4. Why did you have to say that? I spent a couple hours online last night looking a the SS and now I'm obsessed. I need to find a way to get into one. The outside actually looks similar to the Kia Stinger IMO. I think I'd rather have a LS GM over a 3.3TT Kia. The 10 year 100k mile warranty on the Stinger sounds really nice though. @Blazelow You might check out the Kia Stinger. I don't know what the base price is but I think the 2.0t comes close to your budget and the 10 year 100k warranty would be great. They look very sporty and the inside is very nice too!
  5. If you aren't seeing responses to email, try checking your spam folder. I didn't think I was getting responses either and after email a couple times, I finally had a response come through that showed previous response that I hadn't seen before. I checked my spam folder and saw that they had responded to every email sent, I just wasn't seeing them. They have a ticketing system and responses are sent from some weird email address. I can't guaranteed this is what is happening for you but I felt pretty embarrassed about following up after a response was already sent. When I have called, it has taken a couple tries to get through but I have had someone answer.
  6. Welcome! You are sure to be impressed by Adam's quality. You got a great set of products to start. Mystery boxes and buckets are released occasionally. They have occurred more regularly in the past few months. Check out the Official Mystery Box thread and you will learn a lot more. I was introduced to Adam's with a MB. It's a great way to have a little fun and get a great deal on products. It also gives the opportunity to get something you wouldn't normally buy. Let's see some pictures of the new car!
  7. I don't smell green apple. It smells exactly like Blue Raspberry Lemonade Kool Aid to me. I love the smell regardless of what it is supposed to smell like. I need to try the rinseless wash. Living in a condo, I think it would be helpful to be able to wash the cars without flooding the shared driveway every time.
  8. I will post pictures for sure. I had to cut a hole in the ceiling/walls because the bathroom upstairs was leaking and the drywall was soaked and molding. Good news, it doesn't look too severe, it's kind of annoying. I am excited that it is pretty much a blank canvas. I built shelves and a work bench at an apartment we had previously. I attached everything to the walls. That is a good idea to put the legs on pavers. I'm thinking of building something a lot larger here so I will probably need support from the ground as well. There is a lot that I want to do. I will just have to see what my budget allows.
  9. That’s a great idea. I never would’ve thought of that. I think I’m going to leave it open though. I plan on putting work bench and shelves along the wall starting in that far corner where the crappy shelves are now. I also want to put a sink on the back wall so I can use warm water in the hose. I might put a couple doors up to hide the hvac and water heater.
  10. Anyway, welcome to the forum. I am also trying to make it a side job, possibly a business. For now, I want to make enough money to order MBs every time they are offered and whatever other products I fall in love with without my girlfriend asking me why. Good luck with everything!
  11. Here are some pictures of the garage. It's pretty big. At some point, the floor was painted red. There is one light bulb in it right now. I plan on adding led ceiling lights soon. I will also build some kind of work bench and shelves. I'd like to have the floor redone. I might look into fixing the drywall and painting as well. Adding a storage and display area for my growing Adam's collection will be coming soon.
  12. I have used buttery wax on 2 black cars so far. On my aunt's Miata, it was easy on, easy off. The shine was way more than I expected from a liquid wax. I applied it to my Forte after polishing. It went on great. I did have some trouble removing it though. I was in my garage with a single light bulb so I missed some spots. When I pulled it outside the next day, I used some detail spray and went over it to get the residue off. I think it's great despite taking some work sometimes. I'd like to get some paste wax for longevity but I do like BW.
  13. I figured I would go ahead and start a thread to document the transformation of my new garage. It is rough right now but I can't wait to transform it and display my growing Adam's collection. Right now, I'm working on the kitchen. Painting cabinets and new flooring. I'll try to remember to take some pictures of the garage tonight but for now, here are some dirty kitchen pictures.
  14. Wow, I love that color! I might have to look at some BMWs for my next car. They are stunning.
  15. It was from a Mystery Box that I ordered on 11/27/17. I got the 4 bottle bag with TS, DS, ID, and BW, along with a single soft, foam block, and possibly a utility towel. I'm pretty sure the towel above came in there too. Maybe I just got it mixed in with everything else and thought it was Adam's because it was pretty soft, similar to the single soft. Maybe they found it hiding in the warehouse and threw it in the box or maybe I just found it with my junk somewhere. I don't remember buying it anywhere but I swear it came in that bag.
  16. I received this towel in an MB a while back. I can’t find it on the website but it’s pretty soft. Does anyone know what it’s called and what I should use it for? Unfolded, I’d say it’s around 1’ x 2’, maybe.
  17. I'm wondering if I should do the same then. I noticed the burnt electrical smell but just attributed it to being new. I didn't notice a loud sound but I don't know what it should sound like. I think I might be ok because I used it over the weekend and it worked great. I'll keep that in mind though in case an issue shows itself.
  18. I had the same issue. Instead of using your email to log in, use your display name. I was getting extremely annoyed by it too but this fixed it for me.
  19. Ok thanks, I don't have anything to trade now though. I'm sending out my 4" pads this week. If I get something else to trade I will let you know.

    EDC Wallet

I have one of these and love it. It holds my cards and license and the band holds cash when I have it. My leg would go numb when sitting on my leather wallet so I wanted something I could wear on my belt. This company is Veteran owned. I believe they're made in the USA. When I bought my wallet, they were named Clearwater Tactical but I guess they rebranded. Mine is black carbon outside and zombie green inside https://neptuneconcealment.com/product/gemini-series-wallet/
  21. I'd like a couple buckets. I see that you are in Japan though. Would shipping be crazy?
  22. I see some people order mystery buckets every time they are offered. I know a bucket isn't that expensive to order off of the site but I was wondering if anyone had a couple buckets with grit guards and gamma seals or snap lids that they would like to get out of their way. Shipping will probably be the biggest expense but maybe someone wants to help out a fellow enthusiast? You could consider it a house warming gift. ? I can travel around 2 hours from 46032 or 47353 if someone would like to meet to pass them off. Update: I'm not looking for handouts. I'll gladly pay for shipping and I can pay a little bit for the buckets. The only thing I have to trade right now are 4" pads, my stock is low. I'm hoping to find someone local to save shipping. I can order some from the website after we get settled in our new house but I was hoping someone might have some extras they wanted out of their way.
  23. Yeah, I wouldn't pay for a detail. I'll do it myself. I have see a couple pictures of what he has done and it looks like good work. That just seems too cheap.
  24. Found it. This is what someone is offering on Facebook I’m starting a new 50$ detail deal. -Exterior wash / no interior work -Clay bar work -Full hand applied wax -Rim and tire clean / shine *Bikes are welcome! Full detail on bikes for 50$
