  1. Glass Towels can go in with your other microfiber towels when you are washing them, or you can wash them separately if you have a bunch of them. Some people have said that the Glass Towels can cause a little linting onto other towels, but I personally haven't had this problem. The edges of the glass towels might curl in some from washing, but it will not impact their effectiveness. You may have already read this write-up on the forum, but it's also on our website and I'll link it again for anyone that may not have seen it yet: http://adamspolishes.com/how-to-wash-microfiber-towels As for the Wash Pad, you do NOT want to wash those with your microfiber towels, as they are made of a synthetic material and not microfiber. I would say to avoid putting wash pads in a washing machine or dryer entirely. Instead, rinse them out as soon as you are done washing the vehicle - take the Grit Guard out of your bucket and set it on the ground, then place the Wash Pad on top of it and blast it out with the hose, holding the Wash Pad with one hand to make sure it doesn't fall off onto the ground and pick up more contaminants. I will then visually inspect it and hand-pick out any larger dirt particles that the hose did not remove. Finally I let them air dry, hanging off of the side of my 5 gallon Wash Buckets.
  2. Welcome to the forum James! That is one sweet truck, my budddy had one almost just like that but in black...I say "had" because he got tired of trying to keep that big truck clean...now he replaced it with a carbon flash metallic Z06! I hope you recover from the hunting accident quickly
  3. That's a great idea Kevin! I've always carried around my own Adam's detailing emergency kit in my vehicles during spring/summer/fall, but it's usually with 16oz bottles. Other than the elastic bottle holder loops being too large for the 4oz bottles, our Red Strap 4 Bottle Show Bag would be great to hold a bunch of 4oz bottles and then stuff a few nicely rolled microfiber towels on top of them to keep the bottles secure. I will pass the idea along to see if we could offer it as a kit Edit: Ha! John submitted his response right before I finished typing mine!
  4. Great results! It's always a rewarding feeling when you see how happy customers are when they pick up their vehicles. Keep up the good work
  5. Thanks for signing up Jeff! I think you will be pleased with the Buttery Wax and how easy it goes on and wipes off of the vehicle Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don't miss any new videos that we will be releasing soon!
  6. Thank you for trying out our products and signing up for the forum Nick! There are plenty of great people on here that can help answer any questions you may have! I'm diggin' that Challenger, very nice ride!
  7. My white powdercoat Side Kick is kinda jealous of your orange Side Kick Jim. Now if I can only convince Adam to order some in Impulse Blue Metallic to match a certain loud blue supercharged LS2 Pontiac...hmm
  8. Hey Daniel, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase, so you can use our 110% guarantee. I haven't had too many issues with the Wash Wedge, but I do find that I need to apply a little more pressure with it than I would with our synthetic Wash Pads. Give us a call or email and we can do a refund on the Wash Wedge and apply that credit towards an Adam's Merino Wool Wash Mitt, or other product you might be interested in purchasing. If you want to wait until your next order, that's fine too, just let us know how we can help out! Thanks!
  9. Subscibed too, thanks Joe! I always look forward to new videos, and contests sounds even better!
  10. Thank you so much for that letter, it really does mean a lot to all of us at Adam's Polishes! We thoroughly enjoy helping our customers with any questions or issues and to make the right decisions, and it's always a great feeling to know our hard work is appreciated When I first saw this thread title, my initial reaction was "Oh No! Someone's Not Happy!" but then I had a sigh of relief once I started reading the thread
  11. Congrats on that new ride, awesome upgrade and very cool that you got a good deal!
  12. If you are going to put LPS on raw billet aluminum wheels, just make sure to use a very soft applicator and then a premium microfiber towel for removal, so that you don't introduce any new marring to the finish as you apply the sealant. I would recommend our Red Hex Grip (softest foam we offer) and a Single Soft or Double Soft Towel.
  13. The 4" microfiber pads did change a bit in the last shipment we received, and I noticed the slightly larger diameter as well. I haven't had any issues with them other than a slight increase in noise when using them with the Cyclo, but I will talk to Dylan and Adam about it just to be sure. Thanks!
  14. You didn't bore us at all Jim, it's always nice to read great stories like that!
  15. Happy New Year Chevydude, that sounds like a resolution that should be easy to keep
  16. Whoa, three Dan's in here now! Haha Thanks for signing up for our forum and for following our posts on Camaro5 There are a lot of great, knowledgeable, and friendly people over here that can answer just about any question you may have about making that Camaro shine to its full potential!
  17. For deeper scratches I will run it on speed 6 for a little bit, but then I will typically back it down to 4 or 5.
  18. I'm glad to hear you're happy with it Derek. It's definitely one of my favorite detailing tools! Just make sure to keep it moving and give the backing plate some time to cool down in between tight areas if you're using it for a fair amount of time, as it is a powerful little machine
  19. Hey Joni! Thanks for signing up to our forum. Your best bet for protection and shine after polishing the surface of any fine swirl marks and scratches would be to put a layer of Liquid Paint Sealant down first for protection, followed by a coat of Brilliant Glaze and then either Buttery Wax, Americana, or Patriot Wax for that awesome depth and wet look. Liquid Paint Sealant is the most durable product we offer and should last around 6 months with one application. The Brilliant Glaze will help temporarily fill in some of those finer swirls and scratches that the machine polisher may not fully remove. Then with our waxes, Patriot is my top choice for show cars since it is our premium concourse level wax that applies and removes incredibly easy, but Buttery Wax and Americana are also great choices! Adding another coat of Brilliant Glaze after a few months or right before a show will really make it pop for the judges Edit: Geez, Wolf beat me to it!
  20. Hi Scott, currently the only machine from Flex that we carry is the 3401 VRG. We tend to steer away from rotary polishers like the one you linked since they can generate significant amounts of heat and cause damage quickly for the inexperienced user. We try to offer random orbital machines that are great for both beginner and advanced detailers
  21. Happy New Year everyone! Stay safe out there. I'm staying in this evening, celebrating finally getting my daily driver back from the dealership after 3 weeks or so...now with a brand new engine...hopefully none of the pistons go boom in this one... Happy Birthday Jesse!
  22. I totally agree with that statement. I almost always grab the Cyclo for applying a perfect layer of Brilliant Glaze or LPS in a quick and efficient manner!
  23. Hooray! Finally no more blown up engine in the daily driver!
