  1. Adam said, Let there be shine, and there was shine. And Adam saw the shine, that it was good: and Adam divided the shine from the dull. And Adam called the shine Adam's Premium Car Care Products, and the dull he called The Competition. Genesis 1:3-5
  2. 3' x 5' flags on Amazon.com sell for between $25 and $35. WinCraft makes quality stuff but I think they only do sports teams.
  3. That's exactly what I did when I got my macbook. I love OSX but I've used Windows forever and there are just some things that I need Windows to do more effectively
  4. Also some manufacturers advertise much higher contrast ratios and in tiny print note that it's a dynamic ratio, not constant.
  5. It sure can, plus the Fine Machine Polish is more aggressive than the Revive so you may be able to mix your FMP with a little bit of SHR (if needed) and save yourself a step
  6. Sony Bravia or Samsung are the only two brands I'd consider for flat-screens. I've got a 32" XBR in my bedroom and a 46" samsung in the living room, both are 1080p and both are spectacular. Compared side by side with other brands it was a no brainer which screens produced sharper pictures and more vibrant colors. If you can, get your TV from Costco/Sam's Club. Costco has a 90-day return policy (compared to other stores' 30-day) and they extend the manufacturers warranty to two years instead of the standard one year.
  7. Remove the polish residue before applying the wax, and you don't need to move as slow or use as much pressure when applying the wax. Other than that you've got the idea
  8. Didn't even give me a chance to think of a witty response to that one...
  9. I had a Meguiar's clay bar once, never used it though. It felt like taffy, plus it was really small.
  10. If you fold the clay every so often you keep the dirt inside the clay and away from the surface so it won't touch your paint. If you fold it a few times and you can still see/feel grit in the clay it may be time for a new piece.
  11. I never got the chance to use a yellow one, what made it the best? Watching you use the yellow bar in the older detailing video it certainly did look as if it didn't break apart at all when you stretched and folded it.
  12. Everybody's great, thanks. We're definitely coming back in August, if for nothing else than to go to your party. We're from New Haven so we're very critical of our pizza, and Marcello's has some superb pie If business ever brings you up to the Northeast I'll take you to Wooster Street and treat you to some of the most famous pizza in the region, if not the country: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Pepe_Pizzeria_Napoletana ugh, now I'm hungry
  13. the purple one was definitely not as easy to work with as the blue, so what you experienced is probably normal
  14. I've been watching Comedy Central for the past 2 hours and I must have seen this commercial 6 times already
  15. I see my dad in this one, in the back leaning against the house. Adam maybe you remember we were with "Gina the Hotdog Girl" don't remind me
  16. Aw man, I thought I had a lot..
  17. Tim, Be sure to give the pad a spray of Detail Spray before you start. One full circle of Swirl/Haze Remover around the pad is plenty. I spread it around the surface on setting 3 until it's nice and even, then bump it up to speed 5 and work it in slowly. I go back and forth in long overlapping passes, then up and down in the same manner. Continue this way until the polish breaks down. Wipe off a small area of residue and examine your work to determine if you should use a different pad/polish combination It took me a lot of trial and error before figuring out how to get my desired results with the Gen1 pads (I used my grandfather's car as a guinea pig). I just got the Gen2's and haven't used them yet though
  18. My last order came with a broken sprayer, but I didn't care because I could use the old one from the empty bottle that the new bottle was replacing. Despite this, Jason took it upon himself to make up for the problem, which was beyond necessary for the situation. That is literally the definition of 110%. Even if Adam's products weren't the best I've used, I'd probably still use them anyway just for the type of service they provide
  19. I put chamois on the garage floor until the vette was housebroken. Then I left them there because it wasn't worth the effort to pick them up again.
  20. Static clings have quite a few advantages: -not permanent -applied inside the car so they won't get ruined by weather/washing -can easily be repositioned if the first attempt comes out crooked
