  1. looks like a ton of awesome cars all those Ferraris lined up, that's my favorite shot
  2. I don't have a vanity plate for my vette. I wanted to get 52388, which is the date it was built, but it was already taken. 00000 is actually the standard format for the 'early american' license plates here, so I wasn't too surprised. I made sure to get one with '88' in it though.
  3. Adam's is the only car wash soap I've used that still has suds in the bucket at the end of the wash.
  4. I bet it was fun shopping for that tree. I finally got ours done. the more I hung around and looked at it the more I started to change things the lights aren't that overpowering in person, I didn't lower the exposure on my camera enough
  5. Awesome pics guys:thumbsup: :iagree: Yesterday it was 11. Yes 11 degrees. Fahrenheit.
  6. or 4,250,000 gallons of detail spray
  7. Might want to fix the code for this one: Add needs to have a : or something, so it doesn't show up in regular text, like "Name, Address, Phone"
  8. I need a better hiding spot too. Every so often I'd see something disturbed out of the corner of my eye when I go down to the basement, and upon further investigation I discover the carpet cleaner or APC is a little lower than it was the week before... The next detail bag needs to come with a padlock, or an attack dog
  9. there are extreme circumstances in which detailing your pc is justified
  10. The funny part is that people in the parking lot were coming over to look at the car and the engine since the hood was up so I killed some time letting it cool off by talking to them, who didn't know the car was dead:lolsmack: We may be planning a trip to BG this year
  11. Oh I know how much fun it is on the highways. The farthest I've driven with it is a little over an hour away for a car show near the NY state line this past September. On the way home I stopped to get something to eat (after about 50 minutes of driving) and when I went back out the ignition wouldn't even click. I had to wait with the hood open for 20 minutes for everything to cool down before it would start again.
  12. I've gone to Corvettes @ Carlisle for the past 3 years, but I haven't brought my car yet. I really want to but it's a 5-hour drive. I always stay at the Days Inn Harrisburg.
  13. I've got one cut diagonally to form a wedge to get the area of the dashboard where it meets the windshield
  14. I wouldn't cut any of the adam's towels, and only use them for paint and glass. I bought a 50-pack of 'junk' microfiber towels for $10 from costco that I use on the engine, exhaust pipes, etc.
  15. I was gonna say the same thing. What brand are they
  16. It seems like a good idea in theory, but not in practice. Like the article said, places that have long periods of cold temperatures, bodyshops, etc.
  17. I went to the customer appreciation party at Carlisle the past 2 years. I got to talk to Adam for a few minutes and show him a couple photos of my car. Very rarely do you see the owner of a company out there interacting with their customer base and establishing such a close relationship with everyone who buys their products. That shows true commitment. Now if only Comcast was like that...
  18. by "it" I hope you mean detail spray and not
  19. I agree with everyone else, great color I saw a dark red SS today on my way home from work, but it was filthy so I knew it couldn't be yours
  20. The Sampler Kit is a great way to start, and the Interior Kit is a good addition so you can cover both the outside and inside of your vehicle.
  21. I've found that it lasts through quite a few rain showers, you just need to give it time to "soak in" like the others have said, and you'll be all set
  22. I heard they were thinking of dumping Saturn and Saab among others http://usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/cars-trucks/daily-news/081201-Auto-Bailout-GM-May-Axe-Pontiac-Hummer-Saturn-and-Saab/
  23. InterfaceLIFT has over 1,600 high-resolution (regular and widescreen, up to 2560x1600) wallpapers for your computer. Most are photographs of amazing detail and/or distance, and others are computer-generated designs. So if you're looking to spruce up your computer this is the place to do it. I end up changing my wallpaper every week because of this site.
