  1. Great looking rig man, I am sure she was thrilled! Where is the big obnoxious bow like in the Lexus commercials?
  2. Man, I just love that offset on Evos. Looks tough! I like all of the subtle cosmetic mods you've done as well.
  3. Oh man, I can't believe I missed this thread. Sorry to hear about your Acura, Slava. The STI is looking good man.
  4. I think this a cool proof of concept! Good looking VeeDub!
  5. Took the Z in to get the windows tinted. Just waiting to go pick it up now.
  6. I have been responsible and not maxed out any of my cars. Seriously! Especially here in Georgia. Too many deer!
  7. I was thinking it was a hoax at first until I kept seeing it everywhere, then confirmed by more "credible" sources. I saw the picture of the Porsche he was riding in posted by the AP. Wasn't even recognizable. Just awful for something like that to happen to someone who was by most accounts was a genuinely nice guy.
  8. Yard work! Plus, I helped my friend go pickup a tool box from Sears. I was loose in there with the Sears card and I didn't buy anything! Will power is otherworldly I guess!
  9. Great job as always! The CTSV Wagon is just ridiculously cool.
  10. I love it so much I used it on my pair of Doc Martins I wore yesterday! They looked and smelled great!
  11. Like Beemer, I have done this on hard to machine wax areas as well with great results. As Dylan said, you wouldn't want to do this on a large panel because of the reasons he gave. But, before QS came out, I applied MSW to my new wheels for the 350Z prior to mounting them. I also kept the coat thin to avoid potentially having difficulty removal. I can't wait to go through the remainder of my MSW and whole bottle of MSS. The new cure time and shine and durability of the new liquid Paint Sealant is incredibly appealing!
  12. On my Le Mans Sunset Pearl (burnt orange metallic) I went MSS => Patriot and the depth and shine is on another level. Per some other member's suggestions I will likely go the MSS => BG => Patriot method to really set it off!
  13. Where's the "love button"? LOL! Excited for you brother!
  14. Thanks man. That's my typical order of things after I polish, but for some reason I had it in my mind to go MSS => Patriot this go 'round. I will do this come springtime when it's time to freshen up the protection.
  15. I have to agree with Chewy, I think it is a bit better looking than the Silverado as well. It was high time an American automaker made a proper mid size pick up again. I bet Chevy sells a ton of these.
  16. It's quite handsome actually. I think the Porsche design aesthetic fits a crossover more than say the full size Cayanne. Certainly much better than the fatass BMW X6 in my opinion.
  17. Man, I love those cars. And you always do top notch work as well. I do have a question though: you said in your original post that you did a coat of BG and two coats of Patriot. I recently did my 350Z and only did one coat of Patriot after MSS. It's too late this time to do the BG, but is it worth the additional coat of patriot to you? I ask because the shine is already ridiculous. Thanks in advance!
  18. Dat shine! Phenomenal job, what a gorgeous ride man.
  19. Glad I saw this thread before I started a new one. I just tried my jar (3/250) for the first time over the weekend. Absolutely floored. There are just no words. These pictures don't even do it justice. In the sun, it achieves that mythical "melting faces" status. I will grab some sun shots tomorrow. I hope to grab some with the DSLR soon as well.
  20. Not sure if is related, but I know many Civics of the same year and color had paint issues on the hood, roof and deck lids. In fact my wife's was fixed recently under a recall. May as well see if anything has been issued on the TSX.
  21. Really liking your detailing line up so far!
  22. The owner will probably think you just went back to 1988 and grabbed that car from the dealership. I mean that has to be more believable than that being the same car right? Unreal job so far!
  23. Replying to customers inquiries and keeping them updated is just basic business. I don't know why this is so difficult for some shops to comprehend. Sorry for the experience thus far.
