Cool hardtop and awesome story. Best of luck at the show!

Began polishing the 55 yesterday. Unfortunately, the paint has a lot of issues that I don't think that can be resolved. I know it will need a re spray eventually, but I am going to get it as best as I can until then.

Washed the 55 again after claying it yesterday. I was going to start polishing, but it was way too damn hot. Going to have to get at it early tomorrow.

Pulled the '55 out for more quality time. Washed the wheels once more to ensure there wasn't any residual Metal Polish still on there. After that, I washed the engine. Then, with a little help from my youngest, did a strip-wash. Once the car was dried, I applied Brilliant Glaze to the wheels and newly polished radiator. Lastly, I dressed the engine and tires with some regular VRT, as longevity isn't a concern on this car. Now she is sitting in the garage waiting for clay and polishing!

Loving it so far. I hope that the mobile version get this option as well.

A's and Giants fan here. The A's are, if you look at payrolls within the division, are over achieving once again this year. But this is a result of smart front office, smart managing, good pitching and great team chemistry. They need to simply keep doing what they have been doing, although I worry about how much more late inning heroics they have left in them. I know it will serve them well in the post season, but you cant go a whole season like that. Personally, I am thrilled that LAA haven't been able to Miami Heat themselves into contenders thus far. The Giants are lucky they are in a bad division, so they aren't truly out of it despite their massive slump heading into the break. Their typically rock-solid pitching, Timmy's no hitter not withstanding, has been poor and they just have been losing those slugfest with other teams. They are going to need another bat or two to get back in it if their pitching doesn't get back on track going down the stretch.

When you have used APC on your legs in the shower to get off MP 1&2 residue because you already know its the only thing that will wash it off properly.

This very thing happened to me today, only it happened as I was setting up to strip wash the 55. It was gorgeous this morning, with maybe 10-20% chance of rain the rest of the day. I should of known though, it has rained just about everyday here since getting home. With a strip wash, I suppose it doesn't matter that much, but still!

Prefered Method for inside wheels?
randyfox replied to ExpressThis13's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
Depends on your wheels. I have both the Turbo Stick and the Wheels Woolies. I have yet to use the Woolies on the my wheels, but I have used the medium on the grill of the '55 and loved it. One set of wheels that I know I will use the Woolies on is on the Tundra. The clearance between the rotors and wheel barrels is too tight for the Turbo Stick, so I am sure the Woolies will be money there. -
Yesterday I began cleaning up the Weld Pro Stars on the 55 so I could polish them. These things were a perfect candidate for DWC. I was blown away. I am going to make a thread for the finished products, but here's a pic of me cleaning one of the front wheels.

Polishing the bright work on the '55 does that to me! What's funny is when you click on the picture it displays it right side up.

After shaving every single day for none months, it's nice to take a break from it. Here's mine as of today, a week's worth of growth. Ok, first it posts sideways, now upside down! I was going to try and fix it, but screw it. I like it. Hopefully our Aussie and Kiwi friends will see it the right way.

It hasn't been terribly hot here either because of the wet weather, but because if the rain it has been really steamy. So even if it is relatively cool, it still makes you sweat like Roman Polanski in a Girl Scout meeting.

What Adams Product to Use?
randyfox replied to Will!'s question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
That is truly disgusting that someone would do such a thing. I am afraid that based off those pictures you might be heading to the paint booth. -
The day has finally come, the Beard has become self aware and posting on the forum! I better shave mine before it gets any ideas!
