  1. Morning pollen layer...I'll bust out the sidekick and blow off 90% of it then some waterless wash wipe down. Just make sure it's not a case where you've driven the car for the week and have actual dirt under it where you'd need an actual hand wash vs doing the waterless wash wipedown.
  2. I've run into a similar problem with the old ds. I concluded it was two things A)Humidity of the day B)Improper existing product build up. Part B seemed to be I didn't do a good job applying then wiping the MSS and Americana and and IPA wipedown prior to MSS applicaiton. This caused me to strip the area (IPA) and then reapply and paying attention to applying, curing, complete removal (this was key) of each step. Not sure why it was happening but I know completely what you're describing.
  3. I Love love love this ride!! Congrats!
  4. My thoughts..one long page of clients is a better option then two tabs named clients. The two tabs with the same title makes it look like a mistake. If you want to have two tabs maybe call one Clients /Clients-2 Edit: I see I posted my reply the exact same time as your update....looks better now. I still vote for one long page maybe with a spacer between each.
  5. Once a week minimum as weather permits....until the winter snow flies.
  6. Love the ride! Nice job on the shine!
  7. So I did get a chance to put this beast to use this weekend. Saturday I washed up all three of our cars. I have mixed feelings on this thing. I almost completely agree with what Mark L and Hemi have mentioned. I ran into almost the exact same issues. I assumed the curling into smaller circles and semi crimping was just because it was new and still very much holding the coil it came shipped in and banded together. I was also hoping and assuming this would not have kink issues but saddly I ran into kinking at various times throughout the day. The overall weight does in fact make it a bit of a pain to manage at times while rinsing high areas trying not to let the hose hit the car and then walking back around to the other side. I still need to get a reel and hope that will help with rolling this bad boy up when I'm done. Trying to coil it by hand on the ground was nightmare. It's extra weight makes it tough for it to naturally twist in the right direction as you're making your coils and pulling in the next length. I had to repeatedly stop and stretch out the length while untwisting it before i could go and make 2-3 more coils. We'll see how this goes over time. I too had hopes because of the quality this would be my last hose I'd buy for a very long time. I think from a durability standpoint that may be true but from an annoyance factor this might bug me too much. I hate wasting time on things like fixing kinks, redragging the hose around etc while I'm washing.
  8. Just received my spring order..Adams 100ft hose..and some other resupplies. I have to say upon picking up this box from the front porch I was instantly stunned with the heft of this baby. This thing is a beast!!! I can't wait to bust it out this weekend and put it to good use (supposed to be 55 here tomorrow). Easily the most heavy duty strongest looking/feeling hose I've seen to date! Props to Goodyear and Adams on this one.
  9. Ditto for our DD vehicles as well..here in upstate NY.
  10. And here I thought you were here so I could continually drool over your sig picture.
  11. Great job..as always. Couple questions. 1) Testing some new products..was that the Adam DeWalt pressure washer? (j/k) 2) When polishing the tubes I see you were using a full sized pad. How'd u manage to keep the thing adhered to the backing plate with only a small section in contact..and in contact with a round tube to boot?
  12. I cut them in half..use the bottom half as a little tray for concentrated soaking of towel or very dirty fender brush etc. Use the top half as a funnel
  13. Add me to the list of new fans. We got some unseasonably warm weather this weekend which gave me the chance to clean up two of our cars. 3+ months of no washes and winter road driving was a nice test for the new cleaner. And as everyone has said..it worked great. Spray on..wait a minute..agitate with the brush and bam..all caked on salt, brake dust etc bye bye. I used it on my plasti dipped wheels as well and had no issues affecting the dip whatsoever. The smell goes on as cherry but after a bit it has a stink. I suggest using some nitrite gloves if ya have em.
  14. If that set of pictures alone doesn't sell loads of Adams products nothing will. Great job!
  15. I've run into this and just buy a new applicator. I figured its gummed up with product in the foam and dirt combined (yes i only apply to "clean tires" too).
  16. I use a snow brush but leave a layer of snow on the car and wipe off the bulk of it. The only part i actually tough is the windows.
  17. Now that I look at it closer. This could be a new revolutionary grape jam gel used to disguise yourself for driving around during the impending zombie apocalypse
  18. Just saw a recent FB post by Adams ....looks like some sort of rust cut thing being used on the wheels in that pic. I hope it's true!! Will need it for the upcoming spring details.
  19. Similar to what I've seen as well. Although optimally over 50 seems best.

My New 67 Chevy II Nova!

    Awesome awesome car. Congrats!
  21. After just getting done trying to take advantage of the very rare 50s temps in January in upstate NY I've come up with my product request. I tried to put a coat of buttery wax on after I did a wash. The sun was disappearing fast and I gave it about 30 minutes to setup and removing was a non stop hazy tough to rub off mess. So my official request are products conducive to temps in the fortys or fiftys so us folks with short summers can buy products year round. :-) Maybe a low temp friendly wax, detail spray, sealant. All three of these have produced the same smearing haze when Ive tried to use them in lower temps. The solution each time is to go over the area two or three more times with some waterless wash and blue towels, constantly flipping as moisture on the surface mixed with the product (possibly a humidity thing) seems to cause the smearing, until all the smearing or hazing comes up.
  22. Sounds like a challenge One MF in a bucket of All Purpose Cleaner. Another MF in a bucket of Cocacola muuuhahahahaa.
  23. Dylan did request "no idea is too outlandish"...just sayin. Great solutions often come from "crazy" ideas.
  24. Well the addiction continued. Saturday did the same stuff to the wifes camaro in 39 degree weather. That night it rained through the night...but she was real clean and beading water like crazy....lol
